Selain itu, pemerintah juga telah melakukan introduksi ikan ke perairan umum untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat. Sejauh ini catatan iktiofauna air tawar di Sulteng belum terangkum dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, kami menelusuri hasil penelitian terdahulu tentang jenis ikan di 11 danau dan sungai inletnya di Sulteng. Danau (D) tersebut yaitu D. Bolano (Bolanosau), D. Lindu, D. Poso, D. Rano, D. Rano Kodi dan D. Rano Bae, Danau Sibili, D. Talaga (Dampelas), D. Kalimpa’a (Tambing), D. Tiu dan D. Wanga. Selain itu, kami juga melakukan pengamatan ikan di tujuh danau antara tahun 2012-2019. Penangkapan ikan menggunakan jaring lempar, jaring pantai, pukat insang dan pancing. Hasil rangkuman dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 18 famili dan 27 genus ikan di 11 danau dan sungai inletnya di Sulteng. -

Paraschistura cristata and P. turcmenica are considered valid; and P. turcomana is revalidated. Paraschistura turcomana is a poorly known species from the Kushk River in the Murghab drainage at the border of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, its validity has been questioned and a synonymy with P. turcmenica has been suggested. In this study, we compare P. turcmenica with the syntypes of P. turcomana. A comparison with the related taxa P. cristata and P. turcmenica reveals that P. turcomana can be separated from them by 7½ branched rays in dorsal fin, scaleless body, elongated and shallow body, shallow caudal peduncle, and colour pattern including obvious dark cross bars. Herein, Paraschistura specimens from seven stations in Hari river basin were captured using hand-net and COI sequences of Paraschistura cristata and Paraschistura turcmenica were presented for all recognized species. Moreover; 119 sequences from ten species of Paraschistura in Genbank were added in order to assess of the phylogenetic position of the Paraschistura specimens and compare resulting tree with other studies. Molecular data obtained from Maximum likelihood (ML) tree and Bayesian tree (BI) were congruent and clearly indicate two main clades in phylogenetic tree and the genus Paraschistura in the Hari River basin, are considered as P. cristata and P. turcmenica. There is worldwide distribution of fresh water fishes. Pakistan is blessed with a diversity of fishes owing to streams, rivers, dams and ocean. In freshwater bodies of the country about 193 fish species were recorded. There are about 30 species of fish which are commercially exploited for good source of proteins and vitamins. The fish marketing has great socio economic value in the country. Unfortunately, fish fauna is declining at alarming rate due to water pollution, over fishing, pesticide use and other anthropogenic activities. Therefore, about 20 percent of fish population is threatened as endangered or extinct. All Mashers are ‘endangered’, notably Tor putitora, which is also included in the Red List Category of International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as Endangered. Mashers (Tor species) are distributed in Southeast Asian and Himalayan regions including trans-Himalayan countries like Pakistan and India. The heavy flood of July, 2010 resulted in the minimizing of Tor putitora species Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the fish is now found extinct from river Swat. -

Raya Bogor Km 46, Cibinong 16911 Diterima: 25 Mei 2018; Disetujui: 5 Juni 2018 Abstrak Perairan tawar Pulau Sulawesi merupakan habitat beragam iktiofauna endemik Indonesia yang tidak dijumpai di bagian manapun di dunia ini. Dari perairan tawar pulau ini telah dideskripsi 68 spesies ikan endemik dari tujuh familia, tergo- long dalam empat ordo. Ke tujuh familia tersebut adalah Adrianichthyiidae (19 spesies, dua genera), Telmatherinidae (16 spesies, empat genera), Zenarchopteridae (15 spesies, tiga genera), Gobiidae (14 spesies, empat genera), Anguilli- dae (satu spesies, satu genus), Eleotridae dua spesies, dua genera), dan Terapontidae (satu spesies, satu genus). Seba- gian besar spesies endemik di P. Sulawesi hidup di perairan danau (45 spesies atau 66,2%), 23 spesies hidup di perairan sungai. Spesies pertama yang dideskripsi dari P. Sulawesi adalah Glossogobius celebius oleh Valenciennes tahun 1837, spesimen tipenya disimpan di Museum Paris. Delapan spesies ditemukan pada abad 19, sampai sebelum kemerdekaan Indonesia telah ditemukan 29 spesies, setelah merdeka ditemukan 39 spesies di P. Sulawesi. Di awal penemuan spesies baru, spesimen tipe disimpan di museum luar negeri, namun sejak tahun 1990 dipelopori oleh Dr. Maurice Kottelat spesimen tipe disimpan di Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense (MZB), Bidang Zoologi, Pusat Penelitian Biologi. Sampai saat ini spesimen tipe iktiofauna dari P. Sulawesi disimpan di 27 museum dari 11 negara di dunia, terbanyak di Ame- rika (8), Jerman (6), Swiss (3), Australia, dan Belanda (2), sedangkan di Austria, Jepang, Perancis, Singapura, Inggris, dan Indonesia masing-masing satu museum. -

This can be due to a rarity of such fossils, as is the case for the family Cichlidae (cichlids). Another impediment is the rarity of well-preserved skeletons of fossil fishes. -

This document is submitted by the Animals Committee pursuant to paragraph b) of Decision 11.97 regarding seahorses and other members of the family Syngnathidae. Summary 2. At its 11th meeting (CoP11) of the Conference of the Parties to CITES adopted Decisions 11.97 and 11.153 regarding seahorses and other members of the family Syngnathidae to take action for the management and conservation of these fishes. The Animals Committee (AC) submits the present repot on the biological and trade status of seahorses and other syngnathids at the 12th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP12) to outline the implementation of the Decisions and to provide guidance towards further trade management for these animals. 3. The large international trade in seahorses (genus Hippocampus) is leading to population depletion in some regions. Most other syngnathids are either not traded internationally or not known to be threatened, although concern is rising about the conservation status of Solegnathus pipehorses. Seahorse species are susceptible to overexploitation because of their low population densities, low mobility, small home ranges, inferred low rates of natural adult mortality, obligatory and lengthy paternal care, fidelity to one mate, and a small brood size. 4. Seahorses are often target-fished by subsistence fishers, although most are caught in non-selective fishing gear as bycatch or secondary catch. -
