Juli 2013 Unermüdliches Statement gegen den Stillstand Stimmen-Festival Politische Botschaft, Soul und experimenteller Rock: Skunk Anansie überzeugen in Lörrach ihre Fans VON TANJA BANGERTER Es wäre wohl zu voreingenommen zu behaupten, die britische Band Skunk Anansie definiere sich vor al- lem über Frontfrau Deborah Anne Dyer alias Skin. Und doch ist sie es, die der Band dieses unvergessliche Gesicht gibt. Sie, die ihren sicheren Platz auf der Bühne verlässt und sich in die Menschenmenge mischt. Sie, die in ihrer Haltung zwischen rebellischem Punk, politischer Akti- vistin und glamouröser Souldiva wechselt und sie, die den ekstati- schen Fans nach zwei Stunden atem- loser Performance erlaubt, hinter ihre Fassade zu blicken. Es ist kurz nach zehn auf dem Lörracher Marktplatz, als Skin be- reits zum zweiten Mal die Perspekti- ve wechselt. «Lebt für eure Augen, nicht für eure Handys», sagt sie lä- chelnd zu ihren Fans, die es sich nicht nehmen lassen, ihr Idol in ih- rer Handykamera zu verewigen. «Ihr verpasst alles», sagt sie und bringt zumindest einige der respektvoll vor ihr zurück weichen Besucher da- zu, ihre Handys wegzustecken.
