Key words: Paraguay, Garay Cue, biodiversity In the northeast of the Department of Concepción in the eastern region of Paraguay is located the Estancia Garay Cué with an area of about 18,800 ha, of which form about 5,200 ha the " Reserva Natural Privada Cerrados del Tagatiya", a nature reserve under private management. The estancia is located between two national parks, the "Parque Nacional Paso Bravo" in the Northeast and the "Parque Nacional Serrania de San Luis" in the West and include semi-deciduous forests, gallery forests and various types of Cerrado. During four short visits from December 2012 to June 2013 could be obtained first impressions of the existing biodiversity and photos of plants and animals were made. Special attention was paid to the most neglected invertebrate fauna, as this is the main part of biodiversity with thousands of species, many of them still unknown to science. -

Corregido 12-III-2010. Aceptado 08-IV-2010. Abstract: Biodiversity of land gastropods (Mollusca) in Sierra de San Javier Park, Tucumán, Argentina. Studies related to land mollusk diversity in tropical and subtropical forests are scarce. To assess this, a study on land snail diversity of subtropical cloudforest (Yungas) and dry forest (Chaco) areas of Sierra de San Javier Park, Tucumán, Argentina, was carried out. Taxonomic identifications were performed to species level and built a species per stations data matrix to analyze diversity patterns on qualitative and quantitative samples processed from 10x10m quadrates in altitudinal transects. Non parametric analysis (ICE, ACE, Chao 1 and Chao 2) were used to estimate the true diversity of the area, as well as the degree of undersampling and spatial aggregation of the data. Diversity was also calculated using Shannon, Simpson, Whittaker and Jaccard indices. The richness of the San Javier Park was estimated to be 32 species distributed into 13 families and 21 genera. From the total number of species collected, a single one belongs to Caenogastropoda, while the rest of the species are classified into Pulmonata Stylommatophora and Systellommatophora. The most representative family was the micromol- lusc Charopidae, while the most relatively abundant species was another micromollusc snail, Adelopoma tucma. Richness and diversity were slightly more elevated in dry forest areas of the Chacoan Ecoregion than in cloud forest areas of Yungas. -

Pooni Department of Zoology, Punjabi University, Patiala-147 002, Punjab, India E-mail: [email protected] ABSTRACT Eighteen species belonging to 14 genera viz., Deuterocopus Zeller (Deuterocopinae), Oxyptilus Zeller, Sphenarches Meyrick, Stenoptilia Hübner, Stenoptilodes Zimmerman, Lantanophaga Zimmerman, Amblyptilia Hübner, Gypsochares Meyrick, Exelastis Meyrick, Tomotilus Yano, Procapperia Adamczewski, Megalorrhipida Amsel, Prichotilus gen. nov. and Stenodacma Amsel (Pterophorinae) of the respective subfamily of the family Pterophoridae (Pterophoroidea) have been collected from northwestern India and dealt with taxonomically. Key to the presently examined 13 genera of the subfamily Pterophorinae has been prepared on the basis of wing venation and male and female genitalic characters. Further, keys to the species of the genera such as Exelastis Meyrick, Megalorrhipida Amsel and Stenodacma Amsel represented by more than one species have also been furnished. The genus Tomotilus Yano is being reported for the first time from India. The distribution of the species Deuterocopus planeta Meyrick, Stenoptilia petraea Meyrick, Stenoptilodes taprobanes (Felder and Rogenhöfer), Amblyptilia forcipeta (Zeller), Exelastis phlyctaenias Meyrick, Procapperia pelecyntes (Meyrick) and Trichoptilus bidens Meyrick stands updated through an addition of more localities from northwestern India. Three new species, one of genus Lantanophaga and two of genus Megalorrhipida have been reported from the area, under reference. Besides giving an illustrated account of the new species, the genitalic account of already known species have been added to improve the descriptive account of these biological species. Zuständige Mitarbeiterin: Dr. Anne Wilstermann Anlass: Vorkommen an einer Sendung Lymnophila aromatica aus Laos in das Bundesland Berlin Express-Risikoanalyse (PRA) Stenoptilodes taprobanes Felder & Rogenhofer, 1875 Phytosanitäres Risiko für DE hoch mittel niedrig Phytosanitäres Risiko für EU-MS hoch mittel niedrig Sicherheit der Einschätzung hoch mittel niedrig Fazit Die vor allem in tropischen Regionen vorkommende Motte Stenoptilodes taprobanes kommt in Deutschland nach bisherigen Erkenntnissen noch nicht vor. In der EU wurde die Art bereits in Bulgarien, Spanien, Portugal, Italien, Frankreich, Griechenland, Finnland und auf Malta nachgewiesen. Die Motte ist weder in den Anhängen der VO (EU) 2019/2072 noch bei der EPPO gelistet. Die Larven der Motte sind sehr polyphag und fressen an einer Vielzahl von Pflanzenarten und Familien, die in Deutschland und der EU sowohl im Freiland als auch im geschützten Anbau verbreitet sind. Es sind allerdings keine Schadereignisse durch S. taprobanes bekannt. Es ist anzunehmen, dass sich S. taprobanes aufgrund der Klimabedingungen in Deutschland im Freiland nicht ansiedeln kann. Eine Ansiedlung der Art in südeuropäischen EU-Mitgliedstaaten ist bereits erfolgt. Im geschützten Anbau ist eine Ansiedlung überall möglich. Wegen seines geringen Schadpotenzials stellt S. taprobanes kein phytosanitäres Risiko für Deutschland und andere EU- Mitgliedstaaten dar. Stenoptilodes taprobanes wird daher nicht als Quarantäneschadorganismus eingestuft, Artikel 29 der VO (EU) 2016/2031 ist demnach nicht anzuwenden.
