The International Academy of Sports Science and Technology (AISTS) is looking to hire a Programme Coordinator for its education programmes. You will be in charge of coordinating the world renowned AISTS postgraduate programme1, the Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Sport Administration and Technology on Lausanne campus and other AISTS sport management programmes in cooperation with AISTS academic partners (University of Lausanne, University of Geneva, EPFL, EHL, IMD) and international sport stakeholders (International Olympic Committee, International Federations). Your main mission will be to successfully schedule and coordinate the continuous delivery of AISTS courses over the year with 140 invited academic international lecturers and guest speakers from the sport fields and to organise and support the class and participants. Your main responsibilities: • Plan and run the administration process and operations of the MAS in Sport Administration and Technology programme and other programmes, under the supervision of the programmes directors, including notably: - Participation in the admission process. - Project management of the curriculum design and production. - Production of programme schedule, planning, booking and confirmation of the lecturers and keynote speakers. - Logistical support to the visiting lecturers on site or online when distant learning. - Logistical support to the participants - Preparation and organisation of all lectures: classroom setup, handouts and materials from lecturers, e-learning resources, exams, fields visits, etc. - Budget planning and controlling of the programme, including payments of faculty, reimbursement of expenses, and all expenses related to the courses. - Organisation of the Graduation Ceremonies (200 guests) - Invitation, preparation and logistics of the meetings with the programme’s steering committees • Close collaboration with the AISTS teams: the Students Recruitment Officer; the Education/research team; the Marketing and communication team and the e-learning team. • Production of professional reports about the programmes (in French and in English). • Update of CRM database. • Executive assistance to the Programme’s Director and to AISTS Executive Director. • Other events management, organisation and support to the team (4-6 evenings are required / year). 1The MAS is ranked number 1 by Eduniversal Best Master Ranking (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021). Page 1 / 2 AISTS - International Academy of Sports Science & Technology Quartier UNIL-Centre Bâtiment Synathlon +41 21 692 64 80 1015 Lausanne [email protected] Switzerland aists.org Minimum required • 2-10 years of international professional experience, ideally in Executive education, and if not, in relevant areas like events & hospitality, international sport organisations or sport industry. • University degree or proven equivalent work experience. • Full proficiency in French and English (3rd language is a plus). • Proven track record for: - programme coordination & scheduling; - projects and events coordination; - customer experience delivery with the highest standard; - budget management. • Excellent administrative skills. Attention to details. • Excellent time management and prioritization skills. • Excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills to interact with a large diversity of numerous stakeholders within an international and multicultural environment. • Excellent command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SharePoint is a plus. • Passion for Sports with experiences. • Passion for education & training to develop the future sports leaders. The AISTS office is on the UNIL campus, in the brand-new building Synathlon, which is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva in the ‘Olympic Capital’ of Lausanne, Switzerland. The AISTS is a not-for-profit foundation created by the International Olympic Committee, EPFL, University of Lausanne, University of Geneva, IMD, Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, City of Lausanne and Canton of Vaud. The AISTS takes a multidisciplinary approach to deal with the complexity of sport, integrating knowledge from management, technology, law, sociology and medicine.
