Gardens and grounds There is no doubt that the gardens and grounds at Ropley Grove are quite magnificent. Sweeping, gently terraced lawns with an avenue of cherry trees create a vista leading from the south façade up to the grass tennis court. To the sides is mature woodland with paths meandering through them to the swimming pool (approximately 45 x 20 feet) and court. Well established flower borders grace the house itself, as does a wisteria and climbing roses. One of the most wonderful aspects of the grounds is the part-walled kitchen garden which successfully produces vegetables and fruit including peaches and figs. Within this area are greenhouses and a potting shed.
