Bio Discograpy BIO Ikue Mori moved to New York from Tokyo 1977, started playing drums, and formed the seminal New York No Wave band, DNA, with Arto Lindsay and Tim Wright, created a radical style of rhythm and noise, achieving legendary cult status in rock music. 1985 She started using drum machines in the unlikely world of improvisation. Using standard technology such as drum machine, she has created her own highly sensitive signature style. Ikue received an NEA grant to collaborate with film maker Abigail Child, producing a series of video vignettes based on Ikue’s songs.
