Anotace Diplomová práce „Herní analytika: analýza hry Arma 3 a jejich modifikací” pojednává o tématu herní analytiky v kontextu analýzy hry Arma 3 a jejich modifikací. Autor zde představuje obor herní analytiky a základní terminologii související s tématem. Je zde stručně pojednáno o historii samotné hry, která je dále analyzována. Jsou zde popsány neoficiální herní modifikace King of the Hill, Life RPG, Exile a Battle Royale. V praktické části jsou pomocí explorativní analýzy dat zkoumány data ze hry a následně představeny pomocí široké škály vizualizačních technik. Poslední část rozebírá modifikaci projekt Argo. Zde je vytvořena případová studie zaměřená na využití herních dat v kontextu vývoje hry a použití dat při řešení designových problémů. Klíčová slova herní analytika, digitální hry, data, explorativní analýza, herní studia, Arma 3, herní modifikace Annotation The diploma thesis "Game Analyst: Analysis of the Arma 3 Game and its Modification" deals with the topic of game analytics in the context of the Arma 3 game analysis and their modifications. The author introduces the basic terminology related to the subject and represents the game analytics game. Here is briefly discussed the history of the game itself, which is further analyzed. There are unofficial game modifications King of the Hill, Life RPG, Exile and Battle Royale. In the practical part, data from the game is explored using explorative data analysis and subsequently presented using a wide range of visualization techniques. The last part discusses the modification of the Argo project. Here is a case study focused on the use of game data in the context of game development and the use of data to solve design problems. Could be awesome. First and foremost the game is really good and a great example of a turn based strategy game. Sadly it has a bug which makes the game extremely difficult to play: when it's the enemy's turn, the camera locks to what ever you're looking at and not the enemy. The camera moves around the screen as if it's following the enemy, but just moves around what you were looking at. It also happens if your player is off screen when you place a move order, the camera will not focus on the player.

Using an ethnographic approach, I explore the numerous military simulation (milsim) gaming practices employed by the community, many of which relied heavily on modeling and simulations processes. I contend that these practices were a response to the ‘gaps’ between the ‘real’ and the ‘virtual,’ which disrupted the gaming community’s ability to achieve the desired combat experience. An analysis of these practices makes evident what was deemed necessary for a meaningful and realistic online experience by a diverse community, as well as the new layers of gaps produced by the gamers themselves.
