Cornerstone My hope is built on nothing less, Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

My hope is built on nothing less, Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness. I dare not trust the sweetest frame, But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

Christ alone. Cornerstone. Weak made strong In the Saviour’s love. Through the storm, He is Lord. Lord of all.

When darkness seems to hide His face, I rest on His unchanging grace. In every high and stormy gale, My anchor holds within the veil. My anchor holds within the veil.

Christ alone. Cornerstone. Weak made strong In the Saviour’s love. Through the storm, He is Lord. Lord of all.

He is Lord. Lord of all.

Christ alone. Cornerstone. Weak made strong In the Saviour’s love. Through the storm, He is Lord. Lord of all.

When He shall come with trumpet sound, Oh may I then in Him be found. Dressed in His righteousness alone. Faultless stand before the throne.

Christ alone. Cornerstone. Weak made strong In the Saviour’s love. Through the storm, He is Lord. Lord of all.

Forever Reign You are good, You are good, when there's nothing good in me. You are love, You are love, on display for all to see. You are light, You are light, when the darkness closes in. You are hope, You are hope, You have covered all my sin.

You are peace, You are peace, when my fear is crippling. You are true, You are true, even in my wandering. You are joy, You are joy, You're the reason that I sing. You are life, You are life, in You death has lost its sting.

Oh, I'm running to Your arms, I'm running to Your arms. The riches of Your love, will always be enough. Nothing compares to Your embrace. Light of the world, forever reign.

You are more, You are more, than my words will ever say. You are Lord, You are Lord, all creation will proclaim. You are here, You are here, in Your presence I'm made whole. You are God, You are God, of all else I'm letting go.

Oh, I'm running to Your arms, I'm running to Your arms. The riches of Your love, will always be enough. Nothing compares to Your embrace. Light of the world, forever reign.

Oh, I'm running to Your arms, I'm running to Your arms. The riches of Your love, will always be enough. Nothing compares to Your embrace. Light of the world, forever reign.

My heart will sing No other name Jesus, Jesus.

My heart will sing No other name Jesus, Jesus.

My heart will sing No other name Jesus, Jesus.

Confession and Forgiveness

Amazing Love (You Are My King) I’m forgiven because You were forsaken. I’m accepted; You were condemned. I’m alive and well, Your Spirit is within me Because You died and rose again. (Repeat)

Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; it’s my joy to honor You. Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; it’s my joy to honor You. In all I do I honor You.

You are my King, You are my King. Jesus, You are my King. Jesus, You are my King.

If the Son has set you free, You are free indeed! If the Son has set you free, You are free indeed! If the Son has set you free, You are free indeed!

Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; it’s my joy to honor You. Amazing love, how can it be that You, my King, would die for me? Amazing love, I know it’s true; it’s my joy to honor You. In all I do I honor You.

Old Testament Job 19:24-27 [Job declared] “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes--I, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!

Epistle 1 Corinthians 15:12-14,19-20, 35-37, 42-43 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. Someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?" How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies. When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

The Gospel John 6:35-40 [Jesus said:] “I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

The Apostles' Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Object Lesson In Christ Alone (My Hope is Found) In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song. This cornerstone, this solid ground, Firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, When fears are stilled, when strivings cease. My comforter, my all in all, Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone, who took on flesh, Fullness of God in helpless Babe. This gift of love and righteousness, Scorned by the ones He came to save. ‘Til on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied. For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay, Light of the world by darkness slain. Then, bursting forth in glorious day, Up from the grave He rose again! And as He stands in victory, Sin’s curse has lost its grip on me; For I am His and He is mine, Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me. From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand. ‘Til He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!

Here in the power of Christ I’ll stand!

The Lord’s Prayer Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
