At this leadership development opportunity, youth are able to network with other young leaders from across the state while participating in leadership and citizenship workshops, community service pro- jects, elections for their state officers, Club Tapping Ceremony, and of course there will be a dance.

On Saturday at this event the State Presentation Contest will take place on NC State’s campus. Greene County had six youth to qualify to participate at the State Presentation Contest at this years District Activity Day. The following youth qualified to compete at Raleigh on June 21st: Kacie McCoy, Maven McCoy, Stacie Hubbard, Jenifer Mitchell, Alana Jones, and Parker Harris. Lets wish these brave young people the most luck possible at the State Presentation Contest!
