Please see the following FAQ to answer your questions: What time should I arrive to the airport? Please arrive 75-90 min prior to departure. • In ALBUQUERQUE: Please go to baggage claim and look for the black and yellow balloons at the NM United welcome counter for your swag bag before heading to the FRONTIER check in desk. For all terminal departures, you will have to go through TSA screening the same as if you were traveling on a regular flight. Bring your government issued photo ID! • Albuquerque Check-In: Passengers will be checked in manually off a list at the FRONTIER CHECK-IN DESK Once you are checked off the list, you will receive a handwritten boarding pass. You will not be able to use TSA Pre on the way to Minneapolis • Minneapolis Check-In: Minneapolis is the home base for Sun Country and passengers will be checked in via their check-in system and an electronic boarding pass will be issued. If TSA numbers have been approved by that time, it will be noted on your Electronic Boarding Pass How does baggage work? PLEASE DESCRIBE ANY SPECIAL ITEMS YOU ARE CHECKING. How do seat assignments work? Seats will be assigned ahead of time and indicated on your boarding pass. What if I am bringing a minor with me? If the minor has a school ID, please bring that. A copy of a birth certificate is good in an over abundance of caution. Child should know their birth date if asked. For those who are not the parent or guardian of the child being traveled with, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recommends to have a notarized documentation stating that the accompanying guardian has permission to take the child on the trip. The same applies in cases where children are not accompanied by both parents. CBP recommends that both parents sign a letter stating, “I acknowledge that my wife/husband/etc. is traveling son/daughter/group. He/she/they has/have my permission to do so.” While this documentation is not a requirement in the U.S., it is strongly recommended. What if I have a temporary paper ID? The passenger’s temporary driver’s license (paper copy) issued by DMV will need to be accompanied by a second form of ID in order to travel. The passenger should bring and present the temporary ID but also bring something else that has their name exactly as it appears on the temporary ID/Driver’s License and boarding pass. The passenger can also present the expired driver’s license (that usually has a hold punched in it). The second form of ID does not have to have a photo but it would be great if it did. It can be a work ID, credit card, membership card, etc. However, if this passenger happens to have a passport, that would eliminate the need for a second ID (and extra time needed) as passports are definitely acceptable forms of ID for air travel. Very important: please allow extra time for processing through the TSA Ticket Document Check (TDC) station at the checkpoint. There might be some additional information needed and he/she will want to have sufficient time to get through that process, to completel screening at the lane, and to make their way to your gate in time for boarding. Will there be food/drink on the plane? • Round trip standard beverage service included • Liquor for sale • Snacks for sale .
