The installation named ‘Memory’s Gate’ is inspired by the SOCIO-CULTURE poem ‘Musings at Memory’s Gate’. The weathered steel gate is a literal representation of Memory's Sense of Community Gate, acknowledging the contributions of earlier generations who shaped Laskay and created its original The Arts infrastructure, such as the mills, the general store, and the heritage character that still shapes the community. Installation is scheduled for the spring of 2019.
