Żółte Łodzie Podwodne potwierdziły, że są poważnymi kandydatami do walki o Ligę Mistrzów i niewiele zabrakło im do tego, by ograć podopiecznych Diego Simeone. Paradoksalnie wczorajsze starcie zaczęło się znakomicie dla Atlético Madryt. Z prawej strony w pole karne rywali dośrodkował Juanfran. Piłka miała najprawdopodobniej trafić do Koke, jednak wychowanka Rojiblancos uprzedził Mario Gaspar. Obrońca Villarreal interweniował jednak na tyle niefortunnie, że skierował futbolówkę do własnej bramki, kompletnie zaskakując stojącego w niej Sergio Asenjo. Później było już jednak tylko gorzej. Gospodarze nie zamierzali się poddawać i niemal natychmiast ruszyli do odrabiania strat. Po raz pierwszy w polu karnym Los Colchoneros zagotowało się po akcji Hernána Péreza. Paragwajczyk znakomicie poszedł prawą flanką, po czym zagrał wszerz 'szesnastki' do Caniego. Na szczęście pomocnik Żółtych Łodzi Podwodnych uderzył z siedmiu metrów obok bramki. Kolejnym zagrożeniem był rzut wolny wykonywany przez Bruno Soriano, po którym efektowną paradą popisał się Thibaut Courtois. Przed przerwą niezłym strzałem z szesnastu metrów popisał się Tomás Pina. Na szczęście piłka przeleciała obok słupka. Z kolei Rojiblancos mogli się pochwalić tylko i wyłącznie słabym uderzeniem z dystansu Davida Villi, przy którym najmniejszych kłopotów nie miał Sergio Asenjo.

You will see this week that I have re-hashed an old article that I first published a few months ago with regards to Staking and Bank Strategies (some bits of it may still be the same than in its first publication). I decided to do this last Saturday night when I got out and about my beautiful cathedral city (apologies for my dodgy camerawork) for some fresh air following the news of the new UK ‘Lockdown’. Bayesian methods are also used in this research ﬁeld, but the association between these two is being developed. The aim of this paper is to present new mathematical concepts that are based on information and probability theory and can be applied to network analysis in Team Sports. These results are based on the transition matrices of the Markov chain, associated with the adjacency matrices of a network with n nodes and allowing for a more robust analysis of the variability of interactions in team sports. The proposed models refer to individual and collective rates and indexes of total variability between players and teams as well as the overall passing capacity of a network, all of which are demonstrated in the UEFA 2020/2021 Champions League Final.

Sports FRIDAY, JANUARY 8, 2016 Everton beats Man City in 1st leg of FA cup semi LIVERPOOL: A Merseyside derby in the English League Cup final was closer to reality after Everton beat Manchester City 2-1 in the first leg of their semifinal on Wednesday, with in-form Romelu Lukaku grabbing the winner. Lukaku scored his 19th goal of the season when he headed home late at Goodison Park, giving Everton a deserved lead to take to City for the second leg on Jan. 27. Liverpool, Everton’s close neighbor and biggest rival, leads Stoke 1-0 after the first leg of the other semifinal. The Merseyside clubs met in the 1984 final, which Liverpool won, during a period in which they were the dominant teams in the country. There are still 90 minutes to go in both matchups - the second legs are in three weeks - but Everton manager Roberto Martinez said his team will take confidence from the manner of this victory, outplaying City at times. Ramiro Funes Mori put Everton ahead in first-half injury time, steering home a rebound from close range after Ross Barkley’s shot was parried out, and the hosts were pressing for a second goal - perhaps over-zealously - when City equalized on a counterattack in the 76th. Sergio Aguero controlled a long clearance forward and had only two defenders in front of him on the halfway line. The striker laid in a perfectly weighted pass for substitute Jesus Navas, who had sprinted upfield in support and met the ball with a first-time diagonal shot past goalkeeper Joel Robles.
