Never thought it was maybe a stepping stone, a new skill, a new talent, new personal capacity. Not basically aware that it may sometimes the key to our long awaited success or accomplishment. While many took bravery and determination as their weapon, a daredevil in disguise in doing things out of the ordinary, a risk taker; others simply follow the norms, the usual. No matter how we decided to take things in our lives, at the end of the day a lesson in life must be known stay humble not proud, always be responsible for a more fruitful undertakings and tomorrow. Objective of the Activity To enrich and enhance physical stamina to perform tedious and additional task and work load. To promote camaraderie among members through sports like Badminton Type of Activity Others : Sports GMM Seminar Socio-Civic and Meeting Professional Professional Activity in line with 4Ps Profession Professional Organization Product Activity in support of the Unity Accountability Professional Excellence UAP corporate thrust Most of the chapter members definitely find time every week (now every Monday night) to have their perspiring game a time worth spending with colleagues and family members. It is not just a simple sport but became also a bonding moment. TRIVIA: Badminton is the world’s fastest racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. The shuttle when smashed around the court travels at speed in excess of 300 km/hour. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). It was first played as a sport in the Olympic games of 1992. Poblacion 2, Guests - 20 Marilao, Bulacan Other Chapter - 65 To attend and organize the RD A2a Joint District and Chapter Induction of Officers and Turnover Ceremonies for FY 2019-2020; Objective of the To give recognition to outstanding accomplishments of Chapters and members for their excellent Activity performance for the past fiscal year/ term; To induct the new members of each chapters and welcome them to the organization and To poster camaraderie among the chapter members and officers of the district. Type of Activity GMM Seminar Socio-Civic Others : Induction Professional Professional Activity in line with 4Ps Profession Professional Organization Product Activity in support of the UAP corporate thrust Unity Accountability Professional Excellence RD A2a Council successfully conducted the Joint District and Chapter Officers Induction with the chapter newly elected officers and guests amidst the strong rain and the flood (some parts in Marilao). The activity was sponsored by DAVIES Paints led by Mr. Lester Benedict Leytte. It was graced by Marilao newly elected Mayor Hon. Ricardo Silvestre, Marilao Vice Mayor Henry Lutao, Marilao Sanguniang Bayan Members, the Rotary Club Marilao Highlands Members and of course our very own UAP National President Ar. Benjamin K. Panganiban, Jr. and the UAP National Executive Board Officers and UAP HQ Staff. We also welcomed new architects / members to the organization. The activity was indeed one of the most organized joint induction and turnover ceremonies of the UAP. Our very own member and past chapter president ( Bulacan Chapter) Ar. Ardel J. Santos, UAP as he delivered his inaugural address as the newly elected District Director of RD A2a. Gilbert “ Bebong” Gatchalian. Objective of the Activity To file an application to be accredited as NGO or PO at the City Govern and strengthen the collaboration efforts with the City Government in conducting various CSR projects within the locality. Type of Activity Others :LGU GMM Seminar Socio-Civic Accreditation Professional Professional Activity in line with 4Ps Profession Professional Organization Product Activity in support of the Unity Accountability Professional Excellence UAP corporate thrust The Chapter visited Engr. Gilbert ”Bebong” T. Gatchalian, the newly elected City Mayor of the City Government of Malolos on the morning of July 26, 2019. We also submitted our letter of intent to be an accredited NGO for the City. The Chapter have been collaborating with the City Government of Malolos on various projects especially for the young learners of the locality; environmental protection projects and for the conservation, protection and promotion on the importance of Heritage structures within the town. Some of the projects we did for the past years includes River/ coastal clean-up, Bakawan/ tree planting, Bulilit Caravan, Brigada Eskwela, Heritage tour and consultation and more. It is also timely to invite Mayor Gatchalian to be a speaker on the proposed “Balangkasan sa Bulakan” to discuss some important matters with regards to the on-going construction of the High Speed Train connecting Manila-Malolos- Clark.
