You will also find the standings of the first three places in all events for men and women at the Olympic Games followed by several classifications which are listed either by the number of titles or medals by swimmer or National Federation. It should be noted that these standings only have an historical aim but no sport signification because the comparison between the achievements of swimmers of different generations is always unfair for several reasons: 1. The period of time. The Olympic Games were not organised in 1916, 1940 and 1944 2. The evolution of the programme.

The Hungarian finished the year with 21 multi-goal games, including five outings of four, four five- goal showings and a pair of six-goal performances. He went for a career-high nine goals in the Tigers' rout of Santa Clara on October 21, the most in a single game at Pacific since at least 1997, and tied for the most on record in MPSF history. Picked ninth in the preseason conference poll, he led Pacific to its second consecutive sixth-place finish at the MPSF Tournament. Through three seasons in Stockton, Erdelyi sits fourth all-time in Pacific history with 191 career goals. Erdelyi, who was also the MPSF Newcomer of the Year in 2010, is the first-ever Tiger player of the year. 222000111222 MMMPPPSSSFFF NNNeeewwwcccooommmeeerrr ooofff ttthhheee YYYeeeaaarrr BRET BONANNI • # 8 • FRESHMAN • DRIVER • STANFORD Stanford freshman driver Bret Bonanni (Huntington Beach, CA/Mater Dei HS) became the program’s fourth MPSF Newcomer of the Year, following Will Hindle-Katel (2005), Drac Wigo (2006) and Alex Bowen (2011), thanks to a rookie campaign in which he scored a team-leading 73 goals and finished second in the conference with 3.17 goals per game.
