Georgia, but also Ukraine and Moldova are realizing a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with European Union, which is part of the Association Agreement between these countries and EU. With the agreement’s conditions the duty and administrative restrictions gradually decrease and the trading volume increases quickly. It has an impact on economic model form. Some of the economic sectors have to restructure, the others gain a possibility to develop faster. This is the reason why each country should try to fulfil its energy needs and diversify the supply and partner directions so as not to fall into dependence on one direction of supply only. The South Caucasus region together with Turkey forms an independent energy corridor connecting the Caspian Sea and Central Asia with the EU. How important is the corridor for the EU? For over ten years Georgia has made a milestone in the international arena, with its own strength emerged from the Soviet orbit. Poland, on the other hand, has become the leader of democratic transformations in the Eastern Bloc. In such a short time, we managed to do so much? Could we have done more?
