Come cheer them on!! CCS CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: Community Christian School will present “Child of Promise”, a mini-cantata, on Thursday, December 12th at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the school Chapel. Kindergarten through 8th grade students will perform the 30 minute program of nine beautiful songs that anticipate the birth of Christ, welcome the Christ child and praise the newborn Savior. There will also be student instrumental performances prior to the cantata. CCS PTF/BOOSTER ANNOUCEMENTS: Rescheduled Paper Product Pass Event: Be a real MVP in our “Paper Product Pass“ event at the Boys/Girls Crusaders Basketball game THIS Thursday 12/5 at 4:00pm. We will be collecting paper bowls, cups, and plates to stock the CCS kitchen for 2020! If you meet the following requirements, then you qualify to receive a reimbursement: Students must reside within the boundaries of the Fort Dodge School District. Students must reside 2 miles or greater from their center of attendance. Program must be accredited by the Iowa Department of Education. (We are!) If you reside in another school district, you need to contact that school district’s office concerning your transportation reimbursement. At this level all broadcasters have mandatory participation. This same system becomes a great voluntary plan on a State and local level for dissemination of information that could save lives during an emergency. The following pages spell out a system that could reduce loss of life and property in the event of a natural or man made disaster. This document has been prepared with the cooperation of Iowa State Emergency Management Association (EMA), the National Weather Service (NWS), the State Emergency Communications Committee (SECC),the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and local EMA officials.
