The world of competitive gaming returns to NFL Media platforms as Electronic Arts and the NFL once again team up for a second season of competitive gaming content centered around the Madden NFL video game franchise.

Starting Saturday, October 21, weekly series Madden NFL America returns to NFL.com and NFL Network with new episodes streaming first on NFL.com every Friday night before airing on Saturdays at 4:00 PM ET on NFL Network.

Produced by Forge Media/ITV America and hosted by Madden NFL superfan Dave Grunfeld, Madden NFL America seeks out the most passionate Madden NFL players from across the country and explores the universe around the game. Through interviews with the game’s best players, current NFL superstars who are also Madden enthusiasts, and in-depth coverage of the Madden NFL Championship Series, each episode of Madden NFL America goes deep inside the culture of one of EA’s most popular game franchises.

The season premiere of Madden NFL America features Grunfeld catching up with 2017 Madden NFL Champion (Michael) Skimbo in his hometown of Claremore, OK as well as a preview of the 2017 Madden Classic, which airs live on NFL Network and the Madden NFL 18 website (www.maddenchampionship.com), and social channels Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 PM ET.

The Madden Classic opens this season’s Madden NFL Championship Series, made up of four Majors that culminate in April and feature the best Madden NFL players competing for over $1 million in prize money and the title of 2018 Madden NFL Champion. All tournaments within the Madden NFL Championship Series will air live on the Madden NFL 18 website and social channels.
