Блаженніший Любомир (Гузар) залишає уряд Глави УГКЦ

10 лютого на прес-конференції у Києві Блаженніший Любомир (Гузар) повідомив про те, що цього дня Папа Бенедикт XVI прийняв його зречення від уряду Верховного Архиєпископа Української Греко- Католицької Церкви. Відповідне прохання до Святішого Отця Глава УГКЦ подав, коли йому виповнилося 75 років. «Сьогодні, коли я вже не маю стільки сил, я хочу передати уряд своєму наступнику, який буде дуже ефективно продовжувати працю. Бо то не є моя праця і я не є ключем. Ключем є Церква, а мета нашої праці – служіння Церкві, і ми стараємось це робити доти, доки можемо це робити ефективно», – пояснює своє рішення Блаженніший Любомир. Після відходу від керівництва УГКЦ Блаженніший Любомир не має наміру цілковито полишати життя Церкви і суспільства. «Я робитиму те, що ще можна робити. Буду молитися за Церкву, переосмислювати минуле, слідкувати за тим, щоб нічого з минулого нашої Церкви не затратилось. Дуже б хотів провадити зустрічі з молоддю, а також з різними професійними групами», – розповідає Блаженніший Любомир. Уже цього місяця Його Блаженство зустрічатиметься зі студентами Києво-Могилянської академії, а також розпочинає роботу над другою аудіотрилогією під назвою «Суспільство», до якої увійдуть аудіокниги «Суспільство і влада», «Суспільство і бізнес», «Суспільство і закон». «Згідно з канонічним правом, до обрання нового Глави УГКЦ Адміністратором Церкви буде Архиєпископ Львівський Владика Ігор (Возьняк). Протягом двох місяців відбудеться виборчий Синод, який обере нового Главу Церкви. За Блаженнішим Любомиром збережуться усі титули та почесті, належні його санові», – повідомив Секретар Синоду Єпископів, Куріальний Єпископ УГКЦ Владика Богдан (Дзюрах). Блаженніший Любомир очолив УГКЦ десять років тому, після смерті свого попередника на престолі Мирослава Івана (Любачівського). Він став першим Предстоятелем Церкви, обраним спеціальним Синодом Єпископів після виходу Церкви із підпілля та здобуття Україною незалежності. У час правління Церквою Блаженнішим Любомиром престол Глави УГКЦ був повернений зі Святоюрської гори у Львові до столиці України. Достойні працівники церковних структур, політики, працівники соціального служіння! Дорогі парафіяни і прихожани цього храму – усі, що зійшлися сьогодні на Святу Літургію! Вчора, під час Різдвяної просфори, і сьогодні, як ви чули, було багато сказано про мене. Звучали різні похвальні слова. Мені, звичайно, приємно було це слухати. Однак у такий день, як сьогодні, не можна обмежуватися тільки похвалами. Бо ж відзначення 10-річчя чи будь-якого ювілею – це, насамперед, нагода для подяки. Сердечно дякую вам, що ви зібралися, щоб дякувати разом зі мною, – дякувати Богові. Дякую Господові за те, що благословляв, утримував, зміцнював нашу Церкву в часи переслідувань. Це Боже діло. Дякую і за тих двадцять років, коли наша Церква поверталася до нормального життя. Це також Боже діло. У цьому Божому ділі Господь виділив мені невеличку частку. Той уряд, який я обіймав ще як помічник світлої памʼяті Блаженнішого Мирослава Івана (Любачівського) чи упродовж останніх десяти років вже більш самостійно – це щось дуже незначне у величному процесі відродження нашої Церкви. Передусім треба подякувати Господові Богові, бо коли приглянемося до того всього, що відбувалося за той час, то справді можемо тільки глибоко схилити голови перед нашим добрим Небесним Отцем. Хочу в цей день подякувати і вам. Бо, як я згадав, моя діяльність – це тільки невеличкий внесок у те все, що відбувається для добра нашої Церкви, для добра нашого народу. Це праця багатьох: Владик, духовенства, монашества, мирян у різних ділянках життя. Це – не побоюся вжити слово, яке прекрасно характеризує наші спільні зусилля, – це соборна праця. Сердечно дякую вам за те, що ви робили і робите для Церкви та народу. Однак сьогодні не можна обмежуватися і подякою. Бо це святкування не є закінченням чогось. Це невеличка зупинка в дорозі. Щонайменше впродовж двадцяти років ми стараємося надати нашій Церкві та нашому народові нове життя і хочемо цю працю продовжувати, – кожний з нас відповідно до своїх здібностей, відповідно до своїх можливостей, відповідно до своєї сили. Це дуже важливо. Ніхто з нас не знає, коли Господь Бог покличе його до себе, або коли в нього не стане сил, щоби працювати. Це все в Божих руках. Скільки Бог нам дає – значить стільки від нас хоче отримати. І ми повинні продовжувати працювати. Кожний з нас – і старші люди, і в розквіті сил, і ще діти – має дивитися вперед. Разом з вами хочу сердечно подякувати Богові за всю вашу працю і закликати вас продовжувати працювати, – сердечно, сумлінно, з великим запалом, щоби розвивалися наша Церква і наш народ. Я думаю, якщо проживемо цей день як подяку і як постанову, то це справді буде справжнє святкування ювілею. Сердечне вам спасибі.

Слава Ісусу Христу!

Слово «літургія» походить від грецького виразу «громадська праця». Якою власне є та «праця», що ми її виконуємо на літургії в нашій Церкві? Напевно, ви, майже автоматично, скажете – «богослужіння», і будете праві, частково. Бачите, літургія - це більше, ніж тільки це. Поміж інших завдань, літургія виконує ще навчальну функцію: коли спільнота бере участь у літургії, Церква демонструє необхідне завдання навчання вірних за прикладом Господа Ісуса Христа. Як літургія навчає? Звичайно ми, учасники, відкриті красі галицького наспіву, нас поглинає потік слів, і ми працюємо разом, щоб виконати найменшу рубрику, через яку типікон перетворює наші спільні зусилля в складну й витончену хореографію. Усе це, однак, скоріше ніж стати закінченням, прямує до вищої мети. Що Церква помагає нам творити, так це досвід Бога, який вчить нас, як бути учасниками глибшого життя Трійці. Літургія не є видовищним видом спорту; в ній всі мають бути учасниками. Шекспір казав: «Увесь світ – сцена, а всі люди... - актори». В театрі життя немає глядачів; скоріше, всі є акторами, які мають навчитися, як грати свої ролі. В театрі актори повинні вправляти свої ролі, щоб відповідно їх представляти. Подібно й християнське життя вимагає практикування, якщо ми хочемо стати майстерними. У цьому сенсі, літургійне навчання служить репетицією для християнського життя: ми вправляємося поводитися так, як маємо це робити поза церковною будівлею, вчимося поведінки, яку богослови означують, як ортопраксіс – тобто, практикування правильних речей. Великий піст починається з Вечірньої прощення, особливої літургії, яка є важливим уроком для нашого розбитого світу. Напевно найважливішим уроком є, що, незважаючи на обіцянку, що Христове Царство миру і справедливості переможе, світ залишається розбитим і ми залишаємося ушкодженими людьми. Ушкодженість, на жаль, є результатом нашої гріховності – через нашу вперту відмову любити, як того хоче від нас Христос. Вечірня прощення пропонує ліки від нашої ушкодженості, але ця «духовна терапія» певною мірою є напруженням, подібним до фізичної терапії, що її приписує ортопед тим, хто має зламані, чи зношені кості. Вечірня прощення приписує нам покоритися, з жалем наблизитися до кожної особи, визнати, що ми образили її, і попросити вибачення. Вечірня прощення приписує також другу складну вправу для нашої духовної терапії: ми повинні сказати слова прощення тим, хто з жалем просить його в нас. Це також вимагає смиренності, бо ми повинні відмовитися від думки про свою вищість, прийняти іншу людину, чия гріховність ставить нас у незручне становище, бо відбиває нашу власну гріховність. Болісне згинання мʼязів потрібне для фізичної терапії, яка сприяє виздоровленню; те саме відбувається і при оздоровленні наших ушкоджених життів. Виздоровлення приходить не лише до людини, яка з болем каже слова: «Мені жаль», але також до того, до кого вони звернені; оздоровлення приходить не лише до того, хто чує слова: «Я вибачаю тобі», але також до того, хто вимовляє їх. Це є обопільною духовною терапією, яку дає нам Вечірня прощення; такою є взаємне християнське життя, до якого прагне приготувати нас Вечірня прощення. Фізична терапія відновлює функції тіла та його рухливість. Репетиції дозволяють акторам удосконалювати свої здібності. Нехай наша участь у Вечірні прощення забезпечить духовну терапію, яка зробить нас більш вправними учасниками християнського життя! ЗАКЛИК ДО МОЛИТВИ ЗА УСПІШНЕ ПРОВЕДЕННЯ ВИБОРЧОГО СИНОДУ ЄПИСКОПІВ УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ГРЕКО-КАТОЛИЦЬКОЇ ЦЕРКВИ

Дорогі у Христі! Як було повідомлено усім вірним нашої Церкви, Святіший Отець Венедикт XVI поблагословив прохання Блаженнішого Любомира про звільнення його з уряду Верховного Архиєпископа УГКЦ. Приймаємо цю подію з великою довірою до Господа Бога та до Його опіки над своєю Церквою. Церква є Божою установою. Її провадить Святий Дух, що Його зіслав своїй Церкві Господь наш Ісус Христос у день П’ятидесятниці. Дух Святий “подає усе: пророків посилає, священиків удосконалює, неграмотних мудрості навчає, рибалок богословами появляє і єднає всю церковну спільноту” (Стихира на Вечірні празника П’ятидесятниці). Сьогодні ми готуємося до Синоду для обрання нового Глави нашої Церкви. У Декреті про скликання цього Синоду, який був поданий до відома всім членам Синоду Єпископів УГКЦ, вказано, що вибори відбудуться 21-24 березня, а урочисте введення на престол заплановане на Хрестопоклонну неділю, 27 березня 2011 року Божого, у Патріаршому соборі Воскресіння Христового у м. Києві. Обрання нового Глави – це Божа справа, яка спонуває усіх нас, духовенство і мирян, до щирої молитви, щоб обрати особу по Божій волі: “Бо Бог бачить не те, що бачить людина: чоловік бо дивиться на лице, а Господь дивиться на серце” (1 Сам. 16, 7). Закликаю усіх до щирої молитви, щоб Дух Господній вказав на цю особу, подібно як в давнину – на пророка Давида (пор. Сам. 16,12), та помазав новообраного Предстоятеля як свого обранця та провідника Божого люду Української Греко-Католицької Церкви. Поручаю усім церковним громадам спільно, єдиними устами і єдиним серцем проказувати після Богослужінь тричі молитву “Царю небесний” і один раз “Слава Отцю, і Сину, і Святому Духові, і нині, і повсякчас, і на віки вічні.
