Please change name to – Member Zone All Club Forum Presentation Northern NSW Football Member Zone Club Forum Presentation 2016 Purpose of Presentation The purpose of this presentation is to provide Member Clubs and stakeholders with: 1. A brief introduction to Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) 2. an assessment of the governing body’s performance throughout 2018 against Key Measures of Success; 3. an overview of how the sport and governing body is performing against a number of key metrics; 4. a brief outline of Northern NSW Football’s Operational Plan and Key Measures of Success for 2019 5. A brief overview of key programs and services. Who are we? ➢Full Member Federation of Football Federation Australia (FFA); ➢NNSWF is totally independent of Football NSW – (Southern NSW); ➢4th largest Member Federation behind FNSW, FQLD and FVIC; ➢Jurisdiction extends from the Morisset in the South to the Queensland Border in the North and out West throughout the Northern Inland; ➢Membership comprises of 7 Member Zones and 3 Standing Committees (governance structure); ➢Governed by a Board of Directors elected by Members (refer above) ➢233 Member Clubs; ➢29 Full-time staff implement the Board’s strategic priorities; • Expand the Community Club Coach Co-ordinator Network; • Appoint a Coach Education Coordinator located at Coffs Harbour; • Establish a State Facilities and Infrastructure Strategy; • Establish the annual Coach Education Calendar of Events; • Conduct Talent ID Gala Days for 7’s and 8’s MiniRoos to identify players • Expand Premier Club SAP to include 9’s & 10’s; who could transition to Premier Club SAP 9’s in 2020; • Provide additional training for identified players in Premier Club SAP 10’s; • Provide opportunities for 14’s and 15’s Girls from Regional Zones and • Continue Talent Support Program (TSP) for 13 & 14 year old boys WPL to represent NNSWF at the FFA NYC for girls; participating in the NPL Youth; • Provide opportunities for 13’s and 14’s Boys from Hunter and Regional • Enter a squad comprising players from the TSP and Regional Zones in TSP’s to represent NNSWF at the FFA NYC for Boys; the Tokyo U-14 International Youth Football Tournament 2018; • Provide 12 Boys from Regional NNSW with the opportunity to • Expand Club SAP in FFNC to include 9’s & 10’s; participate in the Football Tasmania SAP Festival; • Implement a C Licence in Regional NNSW • Establish Football Development Programs for interested 7 & 8 year old MiniRoos throughout NNSW. A total of 737 clubs entered the FFA Cup 2019, a number that has significantly grown from the first edition of the FFA Cup in 2014, when 617 clubs entered. The FFA Cup 2019 started in February with the Preliminary Rounds to determine the 21 clubs from the semi-professional and amateur tiers. These clubs joined ten of the Hyundai A-League clubs (Western United FC will not participate in this edition) and the reigning National Premier Leagues Champions (Campbelltown City SC) in the Final Rounds. The FFA Cup Final 2019 will be played on Wednesday 23 October with the host city to be determined by a live draw. Each cup tie must be decided on the day, with extra time to decide results of matches drawn after 90 minutes, followed by penalties if required. At least one Member Federation club is guaranteed to progress to the Semi Finals. Previous winners of the FFA Cup are Adelaide United (2014 and 2018), Melbourne Victory (2015), Melbourne City FC (2016) and Sydney FC (2017). Broadcast partners – FOX SPORTS FOX SPORTS will again provide comprehensive coverage of the FFA Cup 2019 Final Rounds. The FFA Cup’s official broadcaster will show one LIVE match per match night from the Round of 32 onwards, while providing coverage and updates, as well as live streams, of non-broadcast matches.

Detail follows; 1. Management has been authorised to execute participation agreements with the following ten (10) clubs with respect to the NNSW PS4 National Premier Leagues (NPL) for a maximum of three seasons commencing in 2017. Adamstown Rosebud FC Broadmeadow Magic FC Charlestown City Blues FC Edgeworth Eagles FC Hamilton Olympic FC Lake Macquarie City FC Lambton Jaffas FC Maitland FC Valentine FC Weston Workers FC The Newcastle Jets Youth and Emerging Jets have been afforded the opportunity to continue competing in the NPL in accordance with Football Federation Australia’s (FFA) directive and PS4 NPL National Operational Guidelines. Lake Macquarie City FC’s inclusion in the NPL is reflective of the standard of the club’s application and performance in the First Division in 2016. A well-established youth structure, which has been participating in the top divisions of the Interdistrict Competition, will facilitate the club’s seamless transition to the NPL. NNSWF Male Premier Competitions 2017-2019 Page 1 MEMO The stated clubs’ continued participation in the NPL throughout the license period is subject to the terms of the Participation Agreement. The NPL is not subject to promotion and relegation throughout the stated license period; however NNSWF at its absolute discretion in accordance with Clause 3 c) of the Participation Agreement may review and vary the competition structure and format during the license period including the number of competing clubs.
