A total of 737 clubs entered the FFA Cup 2019, a number that has significantly grown from the first edition of the FFA Cup in 2014, when 617 clubs entered. The FFA Cup 2019 started in February with the Preliminary Rounds to determine the 21 clubs from the semi-professional and amateur tiers. These clubs joined ten of the Hyundai A-League clubs (Western United FC will not participate in this edition) and the reigning National Premier Leagues Champions (Campbelltown City SC) in the Final Rounds. The FFA Cup Final 2019 will be played on Wednesday 23 October with the host city to be determined by a live draw. Each cup tie must be decided on the day, with extra time to decide results of matches drawn after 90 minutes, followed by penalties if required. At least one Member Federation club is guaranteed to progress to the Semi Finals. Previous winners of the FFA Cup are Adelaide United (2014 and 2018), Melbourne Victory (2015), Melbourne City FC (2016) and Sydney FC (2017). Broadcast partners – FOX SPORTS FOX SPORTS will again provide comprehensive coverage of the FFA Cup 2019 Final Rounds. The FFA Cup’s official broadcaster will show one LIVE match per match night from the Round of 32 onwards, while providing coverage and updates, as well as live streams, of non-broadcast matches.

Clubs from 43 to 47 were seeded based on their senior teams' position in the 2019 State League. Newcastle Jets, as a new club entering the competition, is seeded 48. • Phase 1: NPL1 and NPL2 youth play in two seeded groups for eleven games • Phase 2: Based on results, Clubs will then move to the applicable tier for another eleven games • At the end of the season there will be a championship series (4 week, top 5 format) • Youth Age Grades – U13, U14, U15, U16 • Youth Club Championship ages – U14, U15 and U16 • Promotion/relegation will occur for two youth teams between NPL Youth 1.2 and NPL2 Youth 2.1, based on the Youth Club Championship • For the 2021 season the competition resets with seedings based on Youth Club Championship from Phase 2 of the 2020 season GROUPS FOR 2020 NPL1 YOUTH PHASE 1 NPL Youth Blue NPL Youth White 1.

    Football South Coast Player Pathway At Football South Coast we have a belief and passion that junior player development is vital to ensure the quality of football in this region. Junior development is not only about our representative players - it is fundamentally about grassroots development. Our aim is to offer a wide range of programs for our juniors and to provide a platform to show and learn new skills and techniques in a fun, inclusive and safe environment, under the guidance of our highly qualified coaching staff. The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of each of our programs which include School Holiday Clinics, Academy’s, the FNSW Skills Acquisition Program (SAP) and the FNSW Association Youth League and Girls Conference League Competitions and how this links to the South Coast Flame who are our representative association senior club. Each program is underpinned by the national curriculum and provides motivation in a friendly environment for young players to progress at their own rate. One of the building blocks that we encourage is the Discovery and the Skills Acquisition phase. During the Discovery phase we allow a lot of varied fun football related games and encourage the beginning of fundamental techniques. In other words, we just love them to play. During the Skills Acquisition phase, our FSC coaches provide a solid foundation for technical skills.
