- 1 - - 1 - Foreword In 1984, Dharma Master founded the Ling Jiou Mountain Wu Sheng Monastery where the practice of "Compassion and Meditation" is advocated. The believers should lead their daily life with the practice and benefit others with the mind of enlightenment as well as attaining peace and satisfaction of one’s soul. Other than spreading the message of peace through “Peace Meditation” and “The campaign of Inner Peace”, Dharma Master Hsin Tao were involved in providing life care services. In the year of 1993, the Ling Jiou Mountain Charity Foundation was established and it is committed to the benefit of compassion and wisdom to all. Based on Dharma Master Hsin Tao’s philosophy of “Caring for the society with care, love and compassion”, the Foundation aims to protect and help others. Over the years, it has been providing care to the elders, disaster relief and emergency relief. The establishment of the "Ling Jiou Mountain Puren Award" rewards students with excellent morality and promotes the life education program for the young monks in the University for Life and Peace. In between 2015 and 2017, the service team of the Foundation adhered to the principles of platform transparency, clear accountability, operational institutionalization and common prosperity with its partner. The three main axes of life education, life care, and life rescue are combined with the promotion of various services. It is also committed to the building of a service cooperation platform. The Foundation is responsible for planning and administrative support work. It combines alliance partners, recruits professionals, integrate professional resources, all working together to provide quality services.

The agreement of both parties to work together on disaster relief, medical services and exchanges as well as social assistance. On December 2, 2016, President of Joy Foundation Mr. Raja and other delegations pay their visit to Taiwan.

 Representatives of Joy Foundation visited Wu Sheng Monastery and pay respect to Dharani of the Bodhisattva with a Thousand Hands and Eyes. - 4 -  On April 15, 2017, our foundation signed a cooperation memo with Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital to carry out exchanges and cooperation on medical rescue, drug assistance and rescue experience for major international disasters.

 On November 19-20, 2016, our foundation assisted in arranging the visit of Executive Director of the NGO International Affairs Committee representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Chou Lin to Lashio, Myanmar. He visited Mansu Monastery, Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery and Guolian Chinese School.  On December 10, 2016, our foundation participated in the 2016 International Aid Development Seminar held by the Taiwan Health Corps Falun in Chientan Youth Activity Center to share the experiences in disaster medical rescue services and to present the Foundation's profile and posters about the implementation of major disaster relief results over the years.

 On June 17-18, 2017, our foundation was invited to Xiamen for the 7th Cross-Strait Red Cross Bo Ai Forum where we introduced our foundation organization and core work. We witnessed the sharing on the topic of international disaster relief, elderly care services and foreign aid supplies by the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, Tzu Chi and the International Medical center of National Cheng Kung University. We visited Xiamen Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Center as well.

- 6 - I. Life Education 1. Puren Award Our foundation has been gradually promoting the Puren Awards throughout the regions of Taiwan since 2003 and through the rigorous and careful selection process; we have discovered and awarded elementary and middle school students with good moral character growing up in a poor family. Our purpose is to affirm and encourage these children and we further hope that by promoting love and hope, children of this generation will have a role model and character in life they can learn from. In the past 14 years, 4,862 students have been awarded in 17 regions of Taiwan, further regions as Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu Islands have been included in 2016. In the year of 2010, the foundation launched the National Puren Award, the winners of the National Puren Awards are selected from among the region and they are awarded in a public ceremony. A two-day and one-night life camp is organized to provide the opportunity for award-winning students to visit places, make new friends and to widen their perspective. Since 2015, the number of awards and scholarships has increased significantly, as 215 students have been commended so far. The Puren Awards are for students from poor families who have decent morality and personnel from every aspect often recognize the effort of the award-winning students. In recent years, winners of Puren Award have won the Presidential Education Award as well and our foundation will continue to expand the processing and will be committed to care about the award-winning students in the future by assisting these Puren Awardees to radiate and to contribute themselves for the society.

 Preliminary and final election for Puren Award students for Taichung region year 2016.  The participation in the Puren Award includes the submission of written materials and the visit to the participants’ home. After preliminary election, our volunteer will pay visits to the homes of recommended students in order to understand about their daily life patterns and to have a talk with their parents. The judges will carefully select regional and national winners through a process of secondary election and final election. Lastly, an open award ceremony will be held to award these outstanding students who excel in moral character and are hard working.

- 9 -  Due to the purpose of returning to promote the originality of the Master's philosophy, the National Puren Awards Ceremony was held at the Fullon Hotel in Fulong since 2016. The winners were invited to participate in the Puren FUN XIN camp, which the schedule of visiting the Museum of World Religions, Wu Sheng Monastery and the rehearsal for the ceremony on the day before the ceremony was included.

- 11 -  In 2015, the establishment of the Puren Award Promotion Committee (PAPC) in various regions started, individual from different communities were invited to help promote Puren Award. PAPC in all 17 districts of Taiwan have been established.

PAPC in Taoyuan established in 2016. They visited Dharma Master Hsin Tao in October 5.

 On May 27, 2016, the Constitution of the Puren Award Global Implementation Committee (PAGIC) was issued. In conjunction with the schedule of the Puren Awards, a regular meeting was held in January and September each year to determine the awards for each district and the national award. The program and validate the winners of the National Awards for each district were discussed as well.

The third PAGIC meeting was held in the Museum of World Religions Cultural Center on September 22, 2017.

- 12 -  Starting from May 2016, we invited representatives from all districts to participate in the Puren Awards Consensus Conference to discuss the relevant plans, to explain and discuss the annual promotion focus, to share and exchange ideas and to talk about the promotion of the Puren Award, so that I will be better, more meaningful and all-rounded. Recent important resolutions include: 1. Cancelling the fund for the regional proportion of the national awards ceremony and the media publicity activities. The PAGIC will be responsible for the search for sponsors. 2. All kinds of printed products and gifts for the Puren Award will be produced by the foundation. Each district is required to apply according to the production cost. Promotional propaganda or flyers will be provided for each district for free. 3. The National Puren Award list consisting of the total number of winners in each district will be recommended by each district and further approved by the PAGIC starting from 2016. 4. The recommendation for the best volunteer by each district were changed to awarding the volunteers who have an experience of 5, 10 or 20 years (home visit, promotions, volunteer works included). The awards includes 5-year silver badges and 10-year golden badges.

According to the recommendations of the Puren Consensus Association, a special issue will be published to introduce the origin, selection, rewards and handling results of the Puren Award as well as providing a welcoming ceremony for all parties. - 14 - 2. Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon Novices Project Dharma Master Hsin Tao understanding that short-term assistance can only save the time and save the poor, he hopes to plow and disseminate the seeds of peace through long-term education so as to combine invisible spiritual education and physical social services into one. By providing living, education, vocational training, community health care, community farms and a series of diversified and planned projects to integrate with the community building and social mutual assistance services to the local community, in order to help local residents become self-sufficient and to lift their children out of poverty through education. Myanmar becomes the first practice base for implementing the concept of "Global Family for Love and Peace." Uphold the concept of “Education Flip Fate”, starting in 2015, the Charity Foundation, in cooperation with the Ling Jiou Mountain Buddhist Society’s project has raised funds to support the Project in Lashio, Northern Myanmar, providing an educational opportunity for out-of-school children in Myanmar and hoping to attack the poverty through education. Over the past three years, it has received more than 2,500 donors and raised more than 55 million yuan to provide food, shelter and education for 272 novices from Shan State Naung Mon at Lashio, Myanmar. In the future, it will continue to raise funds to help fund Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon offers more opportunities for out-of-school children receive education.

The first Phase of the Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery. Fundraising posters and flyers - 15 -  Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon completed in June 2016, it currently has 1 building for restaurant and activities, 2 Classroom buildings, 4 students’ dorms, 2 building for bathroom and showers, 2 buildings for Staff dorms and 1 building for Guests and reception.

It has a classroom building with 9 classrooms, 2 offices and 1 health center. These are the main areas for novices’ daily activities.

The maximum capacity for 4 student dorms is 496 people. Each Dorm has an independent living room for students’ night studying and game.

- 16 -  Enrollment started in May 2016 with a total of 141 adoptees. In May 2017, enrollment for the second year was continued. At present, 272 students are enrolled in the institute. They are divided into 2 classes each for kindergarten and first grade respectively; each class for second and fifth grade; and one Kokang Chinese Class.

 In July 3, 2016, the School of Love Learning Day was arranged to formally start the course of the Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon and invited all donors from Taiwan and Myanmar to attend the ceremony with dignity and faith to honor the monks and elders of the school with four things.

 Myanmar Shan State Naung Mon upholds Dharma Master Hsin Tao’s instruction: “to cultivate students be an international visionary and Buddhist Dharma transmission master”. The main point of the curriculum plan will be learning about Buddhism, there will be morning classes, evening classes, Pali language and the introduction to Buddhism. Burmese, Chinese and English will be used for teaching. The basic education (Language, Mathematics, Nature, History and Geography, etc.) and the community activities (Sports, Music, Calligraphy, Gardening, etc.) will be taught to promote various talents and their ability to live as groups. The daily activities will be led by the monks to practice a strict lifestyle as close as to a religious member.

 Myanmar was colonized by Britain, the formal educational system has an English education curriculum, Taiwanese retired teachers serve as volunteers teaching Chinese. During the school holidays, novices have the opportunity to learn Chinese.

 The school has a health center, hired full-time nurses for 24 hours to take care of the novices. The foundation and high-quality medical team from Taiwan, regular delegation to school to provide basic health examinations, medical clinic, oral health care and health education and general education to keep the novices healthy.

Enhance the ability of Chinese teachers in Myanmar The Chinese descendants in northern Myanmar have tried to pass down the Chinese culture, but due to the restriction of the political system, they can only set up Chinese schools to educate the next generation. They faced many difficulties as they have limited funds and time, the school buildings were old and lack of facilities. Their education efforts were not enough for the school to develop and flourish. Our foundation connected with the Shan State Naung Mon at Lashio, Myanmar, we teamed up with the service team and retired teachers who used to work in domestic Chinese education. At the end of the year 2016, we head to Lashio, Myanmar to assist in the management of the Chinese school in the form of school counselling. We put in effort on understanding their needs in order to design the training and employment for the teachers, especially in rural area. In conjunction with the start of the term for the schools, in September 2017, we organize a visit to Shan State Naung Mon at Lashio to assist in upgrading their teaching efforts through class observation, teaching guidance, demonstration and talks, lectures and training for the teacher. We assist in the promoting of Chinese education so that Chinese culture would be inherited through education to the younger generation.

 In order to balance formal education and Chinese studies, students of Chinese schools in Myanmar are required to arrive school at 6am in the morning. After two periods of Chinese classes, they will head to Burmese school for lessons from 9am to 3pm. After that, they will return to the Chinese school at 4pm to sit for 2 periods of classes. Their reading voices in the break of dawn are the best portrayal of students studying hard.

 At 24 hours basic training course for the teacher for twelve days were prepared for the teachers in the region of Naung Mon, Lashio in Myanmar that allows the teachers from rural areas to be exempted from quotas. They will have the opportunity to study together and to learn about teaching skills that suitable for their classes. They can ask questions anytime as long as the instructor of the workshop is available. 48 teachers from six different schools applied for the training and 39 of them completed all training. We - 25 - will continue to arrange for trainings in the future with our group of teachers to assist and train the teachers from Chinese schools in the rural regions of northern Myanmar.

- 26 - II. Life Care 1. Care for the poor Since the establishment of our foundation, it has been accepting the initiative of the public to apply for emergency assistance. Not to mention the foundation has been trying to seek for those who need help, especially those who are urgent in the form of cash and funds or to refer them to other social welfare agencies according to their needs. Our foundation branch center in the Zhonggang Xinzhuang district forms a volunteer team and started the caring service for the old and poor. They visited senior citizens living alone and low-income households regularly in Gongliao, Shuangxi, Pingxi area in New Taipei City. They pay visits as well as providing daily necessities, counselling, house cleaning services, emergency assistance and medical service. They look after the senior citizens, constantly annual year-end gathering will be held so that the elders can join each other for winter and not feel lonely. They pay visit to 170 families on average annually for the past three years, and provided services to around 1000 people.

- 27 - 2. To help children in poor Our foundation collaborated with World Peace Organization in the year of 2016 to launch the project of providing help for children in poor focusing in Gongliao. The project accepts the application made by schools for the students in need, food supplies and financial aid is provided every month so that the students from poor families will not be in hunger and be able to focus on studies. At present, the number of beneficiaries is 19 students from Fulong Elementary School, Fulian Elementary School and Gongliao Elementary School. Assistance will be increased in the future for children in need while the children will be encouraged to participate in social service activities hoping to help them in cultivating their confidence and to set up a good mutual help cycle.

Gongliao Elementary School presented the Certificate of Appreciation for our foundation for providing care services for the students. 

 The food supplies distributed monthly include rice packs, noodles, cooking oil, canned food, milk powder and crackers to ensure nutrition care of the students. - 28 - 3. Rice distribution Our foundation collaborates with the Ling Jiou Mountain Buddhist Society every year to collect the donations of rice, salt, cooking oil and other food supplies through the annual Water-earth Repentance Ceremony. In combination with local government donations to charities and low-income households, the supplies donated in the past three years included 200,000 kilograms of rice, 15,000 bottles of cooking oil, noodles, rice noodles, soy sauce and canned food to more than 120 groups and more than 13,000 households.

 The local government thank our foundation to provide supplies and care to those who are in need.

Fire Camp for children In August of 2017, the 13th and 14th “106 Disaster Prevention Experts- Fire Summer Camp for children” was held in August 8 to 11 in the Wu Sheng Monastery and Sheng Shan temple in conjunction with the New Taipei City Fire Bureau. The activities include fire prevention knowledge, fire escape training, earthquake experience and other disaster prevention activities. The monks and volunteers from our foundation planned the activity “Spiritual fire prevention- an act of compassion” follow by a delicious vegetarian lunch. 288 students, approximately 150 parents and staffs participated in both events.

 “An act of compassion- Spiritual fire prevention” by Dharma Master Hsin Tao was a new experience for the participants, our unknown desire can actually be put off just as we put off the fire.

 The children had fun during the realistic experiential activities.

- 30 - III. Life Rescue 1. Domestic and overseas Disaster relief Based on the concept of the Ling Jiou Mountain Foundation, timely and appropriate assistance in the emergency stage of major disaster are provided. It is important to carry out detailed assessments before assisting the reconstruction of the disaster area. The 1999 Jiji Earthquake, 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami, Cyclone Nargis happened in Myanmar, 2008 Sichuan earthquake, Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan, 2010 Haiti Earthquake, 2011 Japan Earthquake Tsunami, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, April 2015 Nepal earthquake, Flood in Myanmar that happened recently, 2016 Southern Taiwan earthquake and Typhoon Nepartak are natural disasters that happened in the past twenty years. The foundation has participated in the rescue operations by offering prayers, blessings, donations, emergency medical care, cleaning up of the environment, reconstruction of residential and drinking water systems, taking care of the orphans, home assistance and spiritual comfort. For the past three years, the implementation of major disaster relief efforts domestically and overseas are listed below: (1) The crash of TransAsia Airways Flight 235 on February 4, 2015  The public was encouraged to pray for the police and the medical staffs, 200 believers gathered in the Taipei lecture hall for meditation while copying the Heart Sutra.  100 representatives from our foundation participated in the “TransAsia Airway Flight 235 Pray for the Deceased Ceremony” organized by the Buddhist Association of the Republic of China and other associations. - 31 - (2) Nepal Earthquake on April 25, 2015  We asked Dharma Master Hsin Tao for his Dharma words in the first place, collected the Great Compassion Mantra online and distribute the blessing stickers.

 Emergency relief materials including 674 boxes of food supplies, blankets and raincoats weighing 2 tons were donated. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs transported the supplies to our partner Joy Foundation Nepal to distribute the food supplies and blanket to the villagers in Thali, Nepal. On June 5, raincoats and rain boots were given to the Nepalese armed police force so that it would be easier for them to carry out disaster relief work during the rainy season. Xu Xin-Qiang the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based in India witnessed the entire donation process.

 In cooperation with the Taiwan Health Service Association, a professional medical team consisted of 8 doctors and 4 nurses were sent to Kathmandu for service during the period of May 3-14. They were stationed at the Manmohan Teaching Hospital to help treat the earthquake victims for a period of 8 days, providing medical assistance for more than 400 hours.

- 32 - The helping hand disguised as medical skills win praise from the local communities in Nepal.

 A donation of 23 boxes of medicines worth about 20,000 US dollars as a gesture to continue the effectiveness of the medical service team. Ambassador of Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, Tian Zhong-Guang were invited to give a speech and to witness the acceptation of the donation.

 PSA Charitable Foundation of China assisted in the purchase of tents, rice and soybean (a total of RMB 30,000) as well as the delivery from Chengu to Nepal via air to support the disaster relief work.

- 33 -  A second medical team formed by 5 doctors and 2 nurses went to the Manmohan Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu to provide medical service from October 10 to November 7. They treated 115 patients from different medical department and six seminars about medical technology were held to share the medical experiences and skills to the locals.

- 34 -  In cooperation with the Nepal Buddhist Association, a water filtration system was set up in Sankhu and five sets of solar street lights were set up in Bungamati.

 We donated US dollars 360,000 along with a Nepal Joy foundation for the repair of the Community Child Rescue Center (CCRC) so that the children living there can continue to receive care.

- 35 - (3) New Taipei water park explosion in June 27, 2015 People were encouraged to recite the for the victims and the medical staffs providing help. We received donations of 7,352 series of the Universal Door Chapter, 20,048 passages of Great Compassion Dharani, 6 series of Yakushi Sutra and 2,352 times of Yakushi incantations. We dedicated these prayers for the victims on the praying ceremony held on July 5 and 19. Our directors Dharma Master Xing Yue and Zeng Zhen-Feng visit the injured students in the Far Eastern Memorial Hospital and Shin Kong Wu Ho-Su Memorial Hospital as well as delivering aid of funds.

(4) Flood in Myanmar on August 3, 2015  The Compassion Center of Yangon, Myanmar purchased 150,000 kilograms of rice and went to Magui Province to provide help to the victims of August 1 to 6.  In cooperation with the Taiwan Health Corps, a professional medical team consisting of 3 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 pharmacist went to Baghdad province in central Myanmar on August 12 to 21. They travelled to the villages of Monyo, InnZaLwe and ThanPinGong with the Noble Compassion Volunteer and Myanmar Reunion Association in Taiwan for 6 days to help treat 984 patients.

(5) Soudelor Typhoon on August 8, 2015 In response to the needs of the New Taipei City Government, our CEO and young volunteers will organize the purchased materials, including 130 boxes of dry food and canned food worth of NTD 70,000 before sending them to the temporary collecting station in Xindian District. The food supplies will be transported by helicopters and airdropped in the disaster area to solve the living needs of the victims during emergency resettlement. (6) The relief work for Taiwan Southern Earthquake on February 6, 2016  Our foundation donated NTD 1 million to assist the Tainan Municipal Government in conducting the emergency rescue and the resettlement for the victim. On the midnight of Chinese New Year Eve, the followers of the Ling Jiou Mountain Buddhist Society all over the world pray in silence for the perished victims and the survivors of the disaster.  Our Tainan division organized the “Chinese New Year Blessings and The Precious Litany of 88 Grand-name Buddhas Repentance Ceremony” on February 7 to pray for the victims. The Dharma Master led 60 believers to participate in the “0206 Tainan Earthquake Victims Joint Prayer and Remembrance Ceremony on February 27.

(7) Typhoon Nepartak on July 8, 2016  We donated 500 pieces of towels, 50 boxes of toilet papers, 5,000 kilograms of white rice, 500 kilograms of noodles, 500 packets of rice noodles, 500 packets of glass noodles and 200 cans of salad oils worth of NTD 500,000 to help the food delivery service provided by Our Lady of Health farm in Taitung to the weak elderly.  Our volunteer team of 39 members went to the Taitung St. Mary’s Hospital Our Lady of Health Farm on July 14 to clean the surroundings, on the 15 they went to Tunghai Junior High School to clean up the environment as well. The total environmental protection service for 2 days exceeded 450 working hours.

(8) Flooding in Nepal on August 2017 We donated USD10,000 and cooperated with the Nepal Joy Foundation to purchase supplies as well as forming a youth rescue team to help the victims in the flood-stricken areas in Southern Nepal.

 In the year of 2015, three medical teams were sent to Nepal and Myanmar to assist disaster victims. Our foundation was affirmed and praised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and provided the subsidy of NTD384,615 to the relief funds.

International Free Medical Clinic Our foundation has continued to cooperate with other organizations and society in disaster relief work, we have combined the professional medical personnel and their skills to work on the student aid program in Lashio, the northern region of Myanmar. We provided medical treatment services and basic health education in rural areas, hoping to increase comprehensive care for others. (1) In cooperation with Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, we visited Lashio, Myanmar twice in October of 2016 and 2017 to provide medical services and health education services for the people and students in the rural areas. The service location included Lashio Social Welfare Center, Mansu Temple, Naung Mon, Kokang, Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery and Guo Jing School.

 1,310 people received treatment and 7 health educations talks participated by 1,258

- 40 - people were held in the service period of 9 days.

 Specially produced health care hand washing and correct hand washing paper files were given to schools and students to enhance the effectiveness of the promotion.

 Emergency kits were donated to 5 Chinese schools in Naung Mon, five teachers received emergency training in order to care for local students. (2) In cooperation with the Fu Zhi Medical Service Team, we visited Lashio, Myanmar twice in October of 2016 and 2017 to provide medical treatment for the local monks, novices, nuns and the public. Health checkup such as a urine test, health education were provided in Naigan Temple in Lashio, Guan Yin Temple, Mansu Temple and Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery for 5 days. 800 people received treatment, four health education talks were held while herbal medicine and medicine for skin diseases were distributed.

- 41 - (3) In cooperation with the Taiwan Oral Care Association (TOCA), our dental service team visited Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery in Lashio Myanmar to provide dental care for the novices, teachers and the villagers. A dental cleaning competition was held to encourage novices to practice correct dental care, local teachers also received oral care training in order to spread awareness to local people.

 404 people received dental treatment throughout the period of five days, 509 people participated in nine sessions of dental health education talk.

The oral care training was participated by 37 people, 6 of them successfully completed the training course. Our foundation will work with TOCA to translate the health education materials into Burmese for the purpose of education. 

 141 people participated in the dental cleaning competition, 20 novices were awarded for their efforts.

 Our foundation will work with TOCA to work on the posters of dental care education in Chinese and Burmese, they will later be distributed to local schools.

Ling Jiou Mountain Charity Foundation adheres to the belief of Dharma Master Hsin Tao, which is “A life dedicated to others is a life well lived”. We are committed to bring together social resources, mobilizing volunteers, to invest in life education, life care and life rescue services. During the three-year service period of the current board of directors, we continue the existing care services for the poor, disaster relief and the Puren Award scholarships. Not to mention, the care services for poor children in Gongliao, the novice education program in Lashio Myanmar, free medical care services and the contribution in Chinese education, we continue to establish partnerships with professional organizations within the country as well as overseas to promote the charity. Our purpose is to treat all with the same kindness and to cherish the help offered by others. We hope that by the joint efforts of everyone, we will bring hope and happiness to the world. - 44 - Record of Charity Events (2015~2017) Date Activity Synopsis 2015/1/25 A year-end social networking event for the elderly was held in the Shuangxi Elementary School in Shuang xi District of New Taipei City. 2015/2/4 In response to the crash of TransAsia Airways Flight 235, 200 believers were gathered in the Taipei lecture hall, quietly copying the Heart Sutra while praying for the victims. More than 100 members from our foundation 2/9 and participated in the “Blessings and Prayer for the Deceased Ceremony for TransAsia Airways Flight 235 organized by the Buddhist Association of the Republic of China and other association at the Sanchong District Gymnasium. 2015/3/7 The 5th National Puren Awards Ceremony was held at the GIS Taipei Conference Center of the Ministry of Communications, where 26 students were awarded. The 5th National Puren Award FUN Xin Camp was held on 3/7~8, the students visited the Taipei Science Education Center and the Museum of World Religions. 2015/4/26 In response to the strong earthquake in Nepal, we light lanterns and prayed for the victims in the Hall of Huadzanhai. We gathered people online to recite the Great Compassion Mantra while combining the Great Compassion 21 Conference in the honor of the victims. 2015/5/3 In cooperation with the Taiwan Health Service Association, a professional medical team consisted of 19 members were sent to Nepal for service in the period of 5/3~14. They were stationed at the Manmohan Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu to help treat the earthquake victims and donated 24 boxes of medicines worth about 20,000 US dollars. 2015/5/21 The second meeting of the 8th board of directors.

2015/5/29 We donated 674 boxes weighing 1,943 kilograms of dry food, blankets, rainproof equipment and other disaster relief materials. The Joy Foundation Nepal was invited to assist the delivering of the donations for the victims of the Thali area in Nepal on May 29. On June 5, raincoats and rain boots were given to the Nepalese armed police force so that it would be easier for them to carry out disaster relief work during the rainy season. Xu Xin-Qiang the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based in India witnessed the entire donation process.

- 45 - 2015/8/1 Heavy downpours have hit Myanmar in the past few days; Ling Jiu Mountain Foundation launched a disaster relief project in Myanmar. The Compassion Center of Yangon, Myanmar purchased 150,000 kilograms of rice and went to Magui Province to provide help to the victims on 8/1~6. 2015/8/12 In cooperation with the Taiwan Health Corps, our professional medical team was organized to travel to the villages of Monyo, InnZaLwe and ThanPinGong in Baghdad province in central Myanmar on 8/12~21 to provide compulsory medical services and provide help to the victims. 2015/8/15 In response to the disaster caused by Typhoon Soudelor, disaster relief materials were donated to the Social Welfare Department of the New Taipei City Government for the residents of Wulai District, New Taipei City during their emergency resettlement. 2015/9/7 The third meeting of the 8th board of directors. 2015/10/19 Mr. Ram, Dean of Manmohan Hospital in Nepal visit Taiwan with his wife as a sign of gratitude to the Ling Jiou Mountain foundation for our assistance during the strong earthquake in Nepal. They visited Wu Sheng Monastery and the Museum of World Religions. 2015/10/25 The home visit volunteer training seminar for Puren Awards was held in the Hui Ming Classroom. 2015/10/30 Cooperation with Taiwan Health Corp in organizing the second medical team to Manmohan Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal on 10/30~11/7 to exchange experiences in medical treatment and medical care as well as to sign a memorandum of cooperation with local charity Joy Foundation Nepal to establish cooperation and partnerships of both parties. 2015/12/15 The fourth meeting of the 8th board of directors. 2016/2/14 The President of Joy Foundation Nepal Mr. Raju and the directors, a team of 9 members visited Taiwan to pay tribute to Dharma Master Hsin Tao and to thank the Ling Jiou Mountain Foundation for participating in the disaster relief for Nepal in April 2015. The team visited the Museum of World Religions and the Wu Sheng Monastery. 2016/3/2 Participated in the New Year Tea Party organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and accepted the commendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in recognition of the charitable activities of our Foundation during the earthquake disaster in Nepal. 2016/3/3 The 6th National Puren Prize Fun Xin Camp was held on March 3~4, and the award-winning students visited the Wu Sheng Monastery. The Dharma Master Tsin Dao personally guided the award-winning students and their relatives throughout the journey. On the afternoon of March 4, the 6th National Puren Awards Ceremony was held at the Fullon Hotel in Fulong and 43 students were awarded. 2016/3/4 Donated NT$1 million to the Tainan Municipal Government for the victims of the earthquake in Tainan. 2016/3/23 In cooperation with the Nepal Buddhist Association to promote post-earthquake reconstruction, five sets of solar street lights and water filtration systems were set up in the two villages of Bungamati and Sankhu to benefit thousands of villagers in the two regions. - 46 - 2016/3/29 The fifth meeting of the 8th board of directors. 2016/5/10 The Puren Award Consensus Conference was held in the Taipei Lecture Hall. The district instructors, the Principal Committee of the Puren Award Promotion Committee and the President of Puren were invited to participate in the discussion on the development plan of Puren Award. 2016/7/2 Planning for the sacred pilgrimage visit to Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery in Lashio, Myanmar on Ai Xue Day from July 2~7 and invited contributor of the donation to visit the monastery. 2016/7/13 In response to the disaster caused by Typhoon Nepartak, our volunteer team went to the Taitung on July 14~15 to assist Our Lady of Health Farm and the Tunghai Junior High School to clean up the environment. 2016/9/19 The Global Implementation Committee for Puren Award was held in the Taipei Lecture Hall to review the 14th Regional Puren Award and the 7th National Puren Awards Work Project. 2016/10/1 The home visit volunteer training seminar for Puren Awards was held in the Hui Ming Classroom. 2016/10/8 In cooperation with Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, the medical clinic team was sent to the local village of Lashio, Myanmar to set up a free clinic and life education propaganda on October 8~14. At the same time, the Fuzhi clinic team was arranged to travel to the temple in Lashio region in Myanmar in October 10~11.

Our staff visited the Laukkaing in Myanmar to inspect and negotiate on the 2016/10/15 situation of accommodating orphans at the Gengwei Buddhist Women's College. 2016/12/10 Participated in the 2016 International Aid Development Seminar organized by the Taiwan Health Corps Falun in Chientan Youth Activity Center to share experiences in disaster medical rescue services and to present the Foundation's profile and posters for the implementation of major disaster relief results over the years. 2016/12/14 Visiting poor students of the Fulong Elementary School and Fulian Elementary School as well as accepting the certification of gratitude from the World Peace Council. 2016/12/21 The sixth meeting of the 8th board of directors. 2016/12/28 Our Education Advisory Group traveled to Lashio, Myanmar from December 28 to January 19 to conduct a school counseling program for Chinese schools to help improve the teaching of the teachers. 2017/1/10 The Puren Award Global Implementation Committee meeting was held in the Taipei Lecture Hall to approve the 7th National Puren Award Winners and Awards Ceremony Program. 2017/1/25 The partner of our foundation, Joy Foundation Nepal appoints 14 members to visit Taiwan to donate the statue of Dharani of the Bodhisattva With a Thousand Hands and Eyes and to thank our foundation for our care and relief towards the earthquake in Nepal.

- 47 - 2017/3/18 The 7th National Puren Award Fun XIn Camp was held to lead the award-winning students to visit the Museum of World Religions and the Wu Sheng Monastery. The Sincerity Party was held at the Sacred Mountain Monastery. In the morning of March 19, the 7th National Puren Awards Ceremony was held at the Fullon Hotel in Fulong. 52 students were awarded. 2017/3/29 The seventh meeting of the 8th board of directors. 2017/4/30 In cooperation with the Taiwan Oral Care Association (TOCA), our dental service team visited Naung Mon Maha Kusala Yama Monastery in Lashio Myanmar on April 30 to May 8 to provide dental care for the novices, monks, teachers and the villagers. Dental cleaning competition and oral care training talks were held. 2017/5/16 The 2017 Puren Award Consensus Conference was held in the Taipei Lecture Hall. The district instructors, the Principal Committee of the Puren Award Promotion Committee and the President of Puren were invited to participate in the discussion on the development plan of Puren Award. 2017/6/17 On June 17-18 2017, our foundation was invited to Xiamen for the 7th Cross-Strait Red Cross Bo Ai Forum where we introduced our foundation organization and core work. We witnessed the sharing on the topic of international disaster relief, we visited Xiamen Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Center as well. 2017/6/28 We visited the students Gongliao Elementary School who are receiving help from our foundation and received the Certificate of Appreciation for our foundation. 2017/8/8 The 13th“106 Disaster Prevention Experts- Fire Summer Camp for children”(Ling Jiou Mountain first batch) was held in conjunction with the New Taipei City Fire Bureau. 127 students, approximately 70 parents and staffs participated in the event. 2017/8/11 The 14th“106 Disaster Prevention Experts- Fire Summer Camp for children”(Ling Jiou Mountain second batch) was held in conjunction with the New Taipei City Fire Bureau. 161 students, approximately 70 parents and staffs participated in the event. 2017/9/15 An education advisory group was organized in Naung Mon area in Lashio Myanmar to establish and improve the educational training for the Chinese school teachers on September 15 to October 10. They assist in training more Chinese teachers by local counseling and providing basic training courses for teachers. 2017/9/22 The PAGIC meeting was held in the Museum of World Religions Cultural Center to confirm the 15th Regional Puren Award as well as the working plan and awardee list of the 8th National Puren Award. 2017/10/7 In cooperation with Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, a medical service team visit the local village of Lashio, Myanmar to provide free medical service and health education on October 7 to 14. 2017/10/25 The Fuzhi clinic team was arranged to travel to the temple in Lashio region in Myanmar on October 25 to 30. 2017/12/21 The eighth meeting of the 8th board of directors.
