Assumption request for $321,000 Grant

You may not have heard, but the federal COVID relief package enacted in December 2020 provided non-public schools a grant-writing opportunity for resources to close the learning-gaps caused by COVID-19. The program is known as EANS (Emergency Assistance to Non-public Schools). In March, Dr. Hensley wrote the grant request and she has received the first round approval. If the grant is approved, this money will help purchase Math textbooks, significant digital resources for learning, new Smartboards throughout our school, new iPads and iPad carts for our students in Pre-K through 2nd grade and new Chromebooks and Chromebook carts for students in grades 3 and 4. In addition, As- sumption will be reimbursed for cleaning materials used to sanitize the school. In mid-June we will hear whether we have been given the final approval.

Thanks for reading about our school!
