Only five Canadian players remain after Training Camp cuts. MEDIA DAY: The Boston Bruins will hold their annual Media Day on Monday, October 1, at Warrior Ice Arena beginning with the team’s 12:00 p.m. practice. Approximately 15 minutes after practice, the team will hold a press conference in the Event Room (concourse level 3) with Owner Jeremy Jacobs, CEO Charlie Jacobs, President Cam Neely, General Manager Don Sweeney and Head Coach Bruce Cassidy. After the press conference, Bruins players will be available to the media inside the locker room. A media luncheon will be held in the Event Room after the player availability. TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, and United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley have established the Greater Lawrence Relief Fund to help individuals impacted by the explosions meet their basic needs and recover from their displacement from their homes and businesses. NEXT EPISODE: Season 3, Episode 10: Tuesday, October 2, 7:30 p.m. BRUINS ACADEMY THE CURRICULUM TEACHER SYMPOSIUM: The Bruins Academy The Curriculum Teacher Symposium is an opportunity for K-8th grade teachers to attend a seminar and learn about Bruins Academy The Curriculum. Teachers will hear directly from peers in the field who have been long-standing members of The Curriculum and learn about their experience utilizing this program in the classroom. Topics will include the process of creating and incorporating lesson plans featuring hockey, social emotional learning and much more! This event is being held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29 in Legends at TD Garden. All attendees will receive two complimentary tickets to the Bruins’ final preseason game at 5:00 p.m. later that day against the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden. The school that has the most registered teachers in attendance will win a BFit School Assembly Program for the 2018-19 school year.
