I was pleased to be there and participate in the lively proceedings. As many of you may know, it has been a difficult few months for me on a personal level, and I first and foremost would like to take this opportunity to thank you, my constituents, for supporting me every step of the way. Representing Simcoe-Grey is a job that I love and take very seriously; and, no matter where my seat is in the Legislature, it is a job I will do to the very best of my ability in our riding and at Queen’s Park. As your MPP I look forward to the challenging and rewarding work that lies ahead. My focus continues to be on my constituents and furthering your concerns. I ask that you please continue contacting me and my offices if I can help you, your family or your neighbours in any dealings you have with the Province of Ontario. My top priorities continue to be the redevelopments of the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital and Stevenson Memorial Hospital in . These projects are critical for the future health care needs of our community and I am working alongside both hospitals to strongly push these projects forward at Queen’s Park. Long-Term Care is also top of mind as our riding and the province desperately needs more beds. The Ford Government has committed to creating 15,000 long-term care beds within five years, and 30,000 in From The Creemore Star, June 1979: The Creemore Minor Hockey program has always received ten years.
