BUSTED AUTOMOBILE THEFT OFFENDERS GANG – SEIZED (38) TWO WHEELERS - TOTAL WORTH OF Rs. 30 LAKHS.

The Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with Police apprehended (04) accused who committed theft of two wheelers pertaining to VOGO Bikes Rental Services at Metro Stations in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerates - Seized (38) two wheelers - Total worth of Rs. 30 Lakhs. Details of the accused: 1. MD. Rizwan, age: 19 yrs, R/o Yakuthpura, Hyderabad. 2. MD. Yaseen, age: 19 yrs, R/o Bhavaninagar, Talabkatta, Hyderabad. 3. Mir Hamza, age: 19 yrs, R/o Yakuthpura, Hyderabad. 4. Mohd. Wajeed, age: 24 yrs, R/o Moulali, Dist.(Receiver ) 5. Syed Ahmed Mehedi @ Abbu, age: 21 yrs, R/o Noorkhan Bazar, Dabeerepura, Hyderabad (Absconding). 6. M.A. Aziz @ Ather, age: 20 yrs, Occ: Driver, R/o Omer Colony, Hafeez Baba Nagar, Hyderabad (Receiver - Absconding) 7. Numan (Receiver - Absconding).

Modus operandi:

The all the accused are resident of and Bhavaninagar and they are pursue their intermediate. The prime accused MD. Rizwan came to know about the VOGO vehicles and its operating system with GPS tracker. Later, Rizwan shared the same to his friends MD. Yaseen, MD. Hamja and Syed Ahmed Mehedi @ Abbu and hatched a plan to commit theft of the vehicles from different Metro Railway Stations. As per their plan they formed into a gang and targeted two wheeler vehicles ( Activa – 5G ) parked at Metro Stations particularly VOGO (Bikes Rental Service) vehicles and committed theft of (38) vehicles in the limits of Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionarates.

The vehicle will start after entering complete details of the customer with OTP generation and activate the GPS tracker. Due to GPS tracking system, the accused towed the vehicles from the parking place to isolated places. Later they remove the GPS tracking system, logo of VOGO Company in order to hide the vehicles identity. Later, they remove barcode board, keypad locking system and GPS tracking machine. The accused purchases manual locking system sets and insert in place of keypad locking system. Subsequently they prepared fake registration documents of the said vehicles and selling to receivers namely Mohd Wajeed, M.A. Aziz and Numan (Absconding) for a cost ranging from 15,000 to 20,000/- rupees. Today, basing on credible information, the South Zone Task Force Team, Hyderabad along with Chikkadpally Police apprehended the above accused and recovered the stolen property. The accused and seized property handed over to SHO Chikkadpally PS for further investigation.

PD ACT INVOKED AGAINST MOHD.DAWOOD ZAKIR @ DAWOOD @ U.DEVANDER SHARMA, ARMS OFFENDER OF DABEERPURA POLICE STATION, SOUTH ZONE, HYDERABAD

*** Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issuedpreventive detention order under Act No.1 of 1986 against Mohd.Dawood Zakir @ Dawood @ U.Devander Sharma s/o Md.Ibrahim, aged about 48 years, Occ: Welder, r/o 4-34/11, Munuganoor, Hayath Nagar mandal, R.R. district, n/o Nalgonda district, an ‘Arms Offender’ of Dabeerpura Police Station on 27.1.2021.

The detenuMohd.Dawood Zakir @ Dawood @ U.Devander Sharma hascommitted an offence of attempt to murder by using country made weapon (tapancha), a prohibited firearm in public place in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerateand has been creating large scale fear and panic among the general public and acting in a manner prejudicial to the maintenance of public order, apart from disturbing the peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.

Dabeerpura Police arrested Mohd.Dawood Zakir @ Dawood @ U.Devander Sharmaon 2.1.2021in Cr.No.4/2021 u/s 307, 384 r/w 511 IPC and Sec. 25(1) (A), 27 (2) of Arms Act of Dabeerpura Police Stationand remanded him to judicial custody.

The preventive detention order was executed on him on28.1.2021 andhe was lodged in Central Prison, , Hyderabad.

Today i.e., on 10-02-2021 held a coordination meeting at Hyderabad Traffic Police Complex, Nampally, Hyderabad to which, Hyderabad Traffic Police, Cyberabad Traffic Police and Jeevandan Organization Members participated and discussed on creating more awareness on Organ Donation.

Sri. V.C. Sajjanar, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad while addressing the meeting has said that donation of organs of brain dead person will save other persons lives and there is a need to bring more awareness among citizens on organ donation and this would bring a movement in the society. The family members of the organ donors should be facilitated which should be given publicity through media to increase awareness among citizens. He also said that a website to be created to know the information about brain death cases in the remote areas of Telangana State.

Anil Kumar, IPS., Addl. Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad emphasized that Telangana State Police is the torch bearer who are leading this Jevandan initiative by providing Green Channel to the Ambulances carrying Live Organs from one Hospital to another Hospital with in short period of time. He also said that there is a need to conduct one major event in every month. Facilitate the family members of the organ donors with celebrities, sports starts to bring more awareness among the public on organ donation. There is a need to create a special day for organ donation and should be organized on the particular day as a big event to promote and get this event into the public to create awareness on organ donation which would save lives.

Dr. G. Swarnalatha, head of Jeevandan organization has suggested that the logo of the Jeevandan should be printed on Registration Certificate and Driving License to bring awareness among citizens.

The brief fact of the case is that, in the year 2012 & 2013, the accused Syed Ikram and Syed Mohammed Omair representing a partnership firm M/s Crown Convention Centre situated at , Hyderabad approached the complainant’s Bank Indian Overseas Bank, Branch, Hyderabad for availing loans to develop their function hall. Accordingly, they have availed (3) Liquirent Loans and (2) Term Loans to the tune of Rs 2.72 Crores on their names and their family members by keeping the above Convention Centre as Collateral Security and by submitting fake and forged Tripartite Agreement. Later, after availing the loans, the accused persons have intentionally evaded the repayment of loan installments and when the complainant’s Bank tried to recovery their outstanding amounts through proceedings under SARFAESI Act, the accused persons with dishonest intention, let the said Convention Centre to lease in favour of one Niyaz Ahmed and caused obstructions to the complainant’s bank from recovery and thereby caused wrongful to the bank and gained wrongfully.

On 09.02.2021, one of the prime accused Syed Mohammed Omair was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble XII ACMM Court with a prayer to remand for judicial custody. Efforts are continued to trace the other accused persons.
