DISTRICT COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE VARIOUS ROADS NEW FOREST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow highway maintenance works to be carried out, as follows: EAST Brook Hill between its junction with Newtown Lane and the ford-10 days-cattle grid maintenance. Alt route via Brook Hill, Road, Norleywood Road. ELLINGHAM AND Christmas Tree Farm Road between its junction with Hill and its junction with Linford Road-1 day-carriageway repairs. Alt route via Hangersley Hill and Linford Road. Station Road between its junction with Falconwood and its junction with Elmwood Avenue-2 days- drainage works. Alt route via Court Hill, High Street , Martin Road, A354 southwest to Handley Cross, B3081, B3078 to Cranborne,east to Fordingbridge to jn Shaftesbury St,west to Station Road. GODSHILL B3078 Road between its junction with Road and a point 150m southwest of that junction-2 days- carriageway repairs. Alt route via B3080 and A338. HALE B3080 Forest Road between its junction with B3078 Roger Penny Way and its junction with Tethering Drove- 5 days –concrete repairs. Alt route via A338 and B3078. HYTHE AND Oak Road between its junction with North Road and its junction with Oak Close-1 day- carriageway repairs. Alt route via North Road, West Road, Roman Road. SWAY South Sway Lane between its junction with Sway Road and a point 200 m northwest of that junction.- 1 day-drainage works. Alt route via C430 Silver Street, Vaggs Lane and B3055. Kings Arms Lane between its junction with C179 High Street and its junction with Kings Arms Row-4 days-carriageway repairs. Alt route via High Street, Christchurch Road and Bickerley Road. C93 Brickhill Road between its junction with C148 and a point 600m north of that junction- 2 days- kerbing works. Alt route via Brickhill Road, Court Hill and Lane. Footpath between St Davids Close and Melrose Court-2 days- footpath surface repairs. Alt route via St Davids Close,The Spinney and Melrose Court. WOODGREEN Woodgreen Road between its junction with A338 and its junction with Hatchet Green Road-10 days- cattle grid repairs. Alt route via Woodgreen Road,Southampton Road Street Fordingbridge, Salisbury Road and A338. PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 3rd January 2017 for a period of 12 months or until completion of works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding this it is expected that each closure will be required for no longer than as indicated above.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
