Congratulations to the many medal and trophy winners for this year! I would like to welcome back our long term friends Langton’s for the fourth time as our naming rights partner and we thank them for their commitment to the Show. Many thanks also go to all our other commercial partners for their support; without which the Wine Show would not be possible. In 2018 we have seen the 17th Margaret River Wine Show take place and the third Halliday Australian Cabernet Challenge judged in conjunction with the show. The Wine Show saw 723 wines from 112 exhibitors judged and the Cabernet Challenge received 401 entries from 182 exhibitors in 26 regions. We thank our outgoing Chair of Judges, Corrina Wright and are very grateful for the time she has spent giving so much to the Show over the past three years. Thanks also to her team of judges including International Judge Eddie McDougall who travelled from Hong Kong to be with us. A warm thanks to all the Stewards and Wine Show Committee for giving their time so generously and our busy Association staff for working tirelessly to make this Show the success that it is.
