Citybus Launched New Cityflyer Route A29 To Provide Express Service Between Tseung Kwan O and the Airport & Re-routeing of Route E22P

(20 September 2011, )Effective 25 September 2011 (Sunday), Citybus will introduce a brand new Cityflyer Route A29 to provide express service between Tseung Kwan O and the Airport, while other new service arrangements for several airport routes in Tseung Kwan O will also be implemented. Details are as follows:

Route A29 Effective 25 September 2011 (Sunday), the new Cityflyer Route A29 departing from Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam Station), will operate via Hang Hau, Diamond Hill and Wong Tai Sin, omit Kwun Tong and Bay, then run via , and proceed direct to Airport (Terminal 1) and (Terminal 2) before terminating at Airport Ground Transportation Centre Bus Station. Departures from Airport Ground Transportation Centre Bus Station will run via Wong Tai Sin, Diamond Hill, Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong and Hang Hau after arriving the City’s hub to Tseung Kwan O (Po Lam Station).

Service hours will be 5:15am to 9:15pm for the journey departing from Po Lam Station, while journey from Airport Ground Transportation Centre Bus Station will be 8:40am to 12:10am daily every 30 minutes. The full fare is HK$42. Passengers using Octopus card to travel on Cityflyer routes for the return journeys on the same day between the Airport and the City’s hub can enjoy 50% discount on the return fare, and free interchange on Route R8 between the City’s hub and Hong Kong Disneyland.

On the same day, passengers of Cityflyer Route A29 can simply visit the Bus Arrival Time Enquiry Service website at eta.citybus.com.hk and select relevant bus stop name, the estimated earliest arrival time(s) at the specific bus stop will be instantly shown to facilitate flexible journey planning. Besides, Route A29 buses will provide free Wi-Fi services. Passengers can access to Internet via mobile phones, portable game players, PDAs or notebooks by following the instructions displayed on the back of seats.

Route E22A Effective 25 September 2011 (Sunday), Route E22A running between Po Lam Station and Asia World-Expo will extend its services to Hong Sing Garden, omit Po Lam Station and Ying Ming Court. Departures from Hong Sing Garden Bus Terminus will run via Tsui Lam Road and Po Lam Road North to Asia World-Expo. Departures from Asia World-Expo will follow its original routeing to Po Lam Road North, and run via Tsui Lam Estate to Hong Sing Garden Bus Terminus. The frequency will be 25 to 30 minutes. The full fare is HK$24.

Route E22P Effective 26 September 2011 (Monday), special Route E22P in peak hours running between Yau Tong and Asia World-Expo will implement new service arrangements to facilitate passengers of

Route E22B which will be cancelled. For Asia World-Expo-bound services, it will omit Kwun Tong, detour via Sau Mau Ping and Shun Lee after Tak Tin Estate of Pik Wan Road. For Yau Tong-bound services, it will omit Kwun Tong, detour via Shun Lee and Sau Mau Ping after of Lung Cheung Road. Service hours will be 6:50am to 7:30am for the journey departing from Yau Tong, while journey from Asia World-Expo will be 5:35pm to 6:20pm every 8 to 22 minutes on Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays). The full fare is HK$18.

Route E22B Effective 26 September 2011 (Monday), Route E22B will be cancelled.
