Edward (Ed) Turcotte As a Herbarium research volunteer and Thursday Docent, Ed volunteered 7,698 hours throughout his tenure at the Garden since 1993. As a retired Research scientist who worked with cotton breeding for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, he used his experience to help with Agave Pollen measurements and chromosome counts. His stories of growing up on a farm and his time in the field will be missed. Before his passing, he was awarded status as a Volunteer Emeritus.
Arlyn Imberman Arlyn was a well-known graphologist, business owner and author of “Signature for Success”. She spent her life advocating for education, art and culture in New York. She moved to Arizona in 2015, and made a big impact on our state as a member of Arizona Women in Philanthropy, Arizona Opera and Ballet Arizona. Her support and work with the Garden included serving on the Donor Recognition Committee, has enabled the Garden to continue mission work and grow our capacity.
