Don’t feel like you need everything on this list, and feel free to look elsewhere too! These are simply suggestions of highly rated products and things I have come to find incredibly wonderful/useful/efficient after having 3 kids of my own! I also explained why you may or may not want to register for certain items. It’s okay to include things on your registry even if you don’t get it purchased for you. The good thing about this (read registry tips at bottom), you’ll get a discount code to get all the registry items that weren’t purchased— take advantage of that! I hope this is helpful! There are some registry tips at the bottom as well. Please let me know if you have any questions! All price points included $ $$ $$$ Click on each image or title to shop! BABY CLOTHES It’s important to throw a few cute outfits on the registry that speak to you, otherwise keep it to the basics (because newborn days are…..messy!). It’s also a good idea to register for 0- 3months + in sizes, not just newborn size. TIP Everyone LOVES buying tiny newborn clothes, but they really only fit in these for a short while. You want to register for about 6-10 onesies/outfits in each size ( 0-3m, 3-6m, and even some 6-9m) to get you through for a while. Remember, you can always add more or return! W W W . Footie Pajamas (5-10, in diff sizes) *CottonOn Sleepers These are my favorite because they have a DOUBLE ZIPPER (easy-peasy diaper changes) AND many have fold over mittens. There are neutrals, pinks, florals, blues, and more! $$ Long Sleeve Onesies (7-10) H&M Long Sleeve Onesies These have super cute prints and $ patterns, but no cuff sleeves, so you may want mittens! Patterned | Plain $$ *Basic White Cuff Sleeve Onesies These work well with any outfit/pants combo and they have the wonderful fold over sleeves so babies don’t scratch their face. I personally prefer these over using mittens, but either works! They are a hot commodity- I would buy stock in these if I could! W W W . K A R I N G F O R P O S T P A R T U M . Short Sleeve Onesies (6-8 of each size) *Old Navy “Henley” Ribbed Onesies These ribbed ones are SO cute and remind me of the Aerie henley I love $ so much! *Carter’s Onesies with Envelope Sleeves (8 Pack) These are basic white ones, but have envelope shoulder flaps, so you can pull onesie down easily for blowouts instead of over their head! $ Swaddle Sacks/Swaddle Blankets (3-4) Velcro Swaddle Sacks (3 Pack) These are easy for new parents to “swaddle” baby in! $ LouLou and Co Swaddle Blankets These are hands-down my favorite to swaddle with if you’re looking for a traditional swaddle $$ blanket! They have the cutest prints and colors, but the fabric is absolutely incredible! W W W . K A R I N G F O R P O S T P A R T U M . C O M 6 © 2021 KARING FOR POSTPARTUM LLC. Pairs of Socks or Booties (7-10) *Gerber Baby Socks (6 pack) These seemed to stay on my babies’ feet best and come in multiple different colors. Honestly, I feel like you cannot have too many baby socks. $ $ *Luvable Soft Fleece Booties Babies really don’t need shoes. I said it! This is the closest I come to putting shoes on my babies. There are better ways to spend the money, trust me! W W W . K A R I N G F O R P O S T P A R T U M . C O M 7 © 2021 KARING FOR POSTPARTUM LLC. All rights reserved. Hats + Headbands (2-3) The hospital provides you with a hat to go home with, they’re not essential, but if you want some cuter options to keep at home, check Etsy! You can even get them personalized and find different patterns that fit your lifestyle! I linked a few favorites below. Other great small shops for headbands are Bloom Headwraps, Eyee Co, and Turbans for Tots (all online too!) *Knots Personalized Stocking Hat I had this with my son and got so many compliments on it— it was adorable! $$ Little K Shop Top Knot Hat I thought this one was adorable and made with breathable material. $ Turbans and Tots Headband I had this for Lou and always got compliments, it was so cute! $$ *Ribbed Headbands (7 pack) Here is a pack of multiple color ribbed headbands we had for our girls and loved. They’re super soft and stretchy and didn’t leave a mark on their $ head. W W W . K A R I N G F O R P O S T P A R T U M . C O M 8 © 2021 KARING FOR POSTPARTUM LLC. All rights reserved. Laundry Detergent (2) This may be something you wouldn’t think about, but it’s a great idea to wash baby’s clothing in a hypoallergenic detergent in those early months (especially since their skin can be so sensitive!). Hypoallergenic and fragrance-free are important aspects to look for in baby detergent. TIP When you register and get a “goody bag” you typically get a sample size of different detergents. Try washing a small load of baby’s TIP things with this sample detergent, let baby Since we are holding baby often, it’s a wear those clothes and see how they react to great idea to wash our clothing in the find your preferred detergent. same detergent as well. I needed it the day I got home from the hospital, toting home 3 different onesies with blowout stains already. Highly suggest you just have it on hand, mama! I’ve tried a lottttttt of stain removers (hello, 3 kids), and I noted my absolute favorites that did the trick! *Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Remover this spray is amazing! I bought it for my toddlers, but always found myself using it on blowout stains. It’s non- toxic and made by moms. $$ *OxiClean Baby Stain Fighter This powder formula in similar to regular oxi-clean (miracle worker). It activates when you add water and works like a charm on those baby blowouts. $$ $ Puracy Stain Remover If you’re looking for a plant based, chemical and cruelty free option, this one has amazing reviews, is hypoallergenic and fragrance free. It uses plant enzymes to break down the stains! W W W . K A R I N G F O R P O S T P A R T U M . C O M 10 © 2021 KARING FOR POSTPARTUM LLC. All rights reserved. DIAPERING All of the things you need for quick diaper changes. I’d keep some in the nursery on the changing table, but I highly recommend including these items on your “nursing/diaper cart” as well (if you’re unsure what I’m referring to, see my “nursing cart” highlight on IG!) You also won’t see a wipes warmer here, as I don’t think that’s necessary- but that’s up to you! My theory was always “when I’m out and about I won’t have warm wipes, so why have them at home”.
