The home team has won the past five meetings in the October 4 • Noon series, but this will be the first game between the two schools since 2003. Hobart got on the board first when DAVID SZENTESY ’04 recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for a touchdown. Ithaca tied October 11 • Noon the game late in the first half on Josh Felicetti’s first touchdown pass and took the lead late in the Springfield third quarter on his second TD toss. Felicetti was 18-of-29 for 249 yards. Ithaca racked up 401 yards 5-5, 3-4 Liberty of offense, but finished minus two in turnover margin thanks to three fumbles. A four-time All-Liberty League first team selection, he has 38 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and six pass breakups this season. Cole- November 1 • Noon man leads the league and ranks 17th in the nation in sacks and paces the conference and ranks Union 24th in the nation in tackles for loss. He produced a season-high 3.0 tackles for loss at St. Lawrence 2-8, 2-5 Liberty Boswell Field W 30-6 and has recorded two sacks three times. FIRST TIME FOR EVERYTHING: Senior offensive lineman ALI MARPET earned a share of the Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year award. Hobart’s left tackle is the first offensive November 8 • 1 PM lineman to earn a share of that award. A three-year starter, Marpet is making his third appearance St. Lawrence 8-2, 6-1 Liberty on the All-Liberty League first team. He helped Hobart average 5.2 yards per carry and 224.6 Leckonby Stadium W 29-27 yards rushing per game while passing for 170.4 yards per game. Marpet did not allow a sack this year while helping the Statesmen lead the league in third down (47.3%) and fourth down (69.2%) conversion. November 16 • Noon Rochester COACHING STAFF OF THE YEAR: For the ninth time since 2000, Hobart was voted the 5-4, 3-4 Liberty Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year. RUNNING THE WRONG WAY: Hobart’s run defense has been so thoroughly dominant this season that two foes have ended the day with negative rushing yards. Curry ended up 30 yards in the hole after getting sacked three times and having a wild snap from center result in a long loss. St. NCAA STATS COMPARISON Lawrence was 16 yards in the red after suffering seven sacks and a wild snap from center.
