CITIES ROLANDA GAINES is a marketing executive with both domestic and international experience around Atlanta consumer-facing brands within the sports, media, and consumer products industries. New York Beaverton Ms. Gaines is currently based in Atlanta with FOX Sports Media Group where she leads all marketing and communications functions for four sports television networks. Managing a team of 10, she is responsible for marketing, events, partnerships, community relations, PR and social media across COMPANIES national, regional and local platforms. Licensing + Brand Extensions Media Buying + Planning Ms. Gaines also has professional sports league experience, having worked at Major League Baseball Social Media + Content Curation where she was responsible for campaign strategies for domestic and international consumer products, Sponsor Integration retail marketing, and special events such as All-Star Fan Fest. Strategic Planning Vendor Management Prior to Major League Baseball, Ms. Gaines started her career at Nike world headquarters in Beaverton, including a position with Nike Sports Entertainment. Her role focused around marketing efforts for CAMPUSES sport properties around the globe, including the Brasil Word Tour featuring the Brasilian Football Stanford University Confederation. Event markets included Australia, Germany, Japan, Korea, and South Africa. Ms. Stanford Japan Center Gaines also managed events and marketing for Nike Town Portland, where she executed consumer- Fordham University facing programs around Nike footwear, apparel, and athletes. UCLA -Anderson School Ms. Gaines holds an undergraduate degree in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from Fordham University. She also completed studies through the Stanford Japan Center in COMMUNITY Kyoto, Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, the Stanford Professional Publishing After School All-Stars Course and the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. Additionally, Ms. Gaines serves on the board of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority directors for Stanford Alumni Association as well as the Mercer University Sports Marketing and Stanford Alumni Association Analytics advisory board.
