Haulout Many yards tending to fishing boats on Qijin island not willing to put up with yachts. Too much trouble to haul out and worries about damage. If they have a cradle it is usually rusty. We witnessed one haulout using slip ways. It is not for faint hearted. Would recommend in emergency only. Prepare for a lot of shouting and gesticulating. Must have Chinese speaker. Charges: o around 20k NTD for haulout on a slip way o 6k NTD power wash o crane costs around 6k NTD, i.e. 12k in and out no travel lift
