4 Days 3 Nights Krabi & Southern Scenic Package

Experience four special days with Krabi Spesialisten. Explore Aonang with its surrounding areas on your first day. Enjoy breathtaking views and sunset on the beach with a drink in one of the beach bar. Day 2-4 we will take you to the «Southern Scenic & Cultural» to see beautiful Lotus Lagoon, agricultural farm, local villages, temples, caves, handicraft community, stunning viewpoints and much more. On the way you will stop for lunch at a traditional Thai restaurant or a small roadside fruit-stall to experience the original Thai Hospitality away from the buzzing tourist destinations. A guide will be with you during the entire 3 days and 2 nights, so you will share information and history during the entire trip.

Day 1 Arrival to Krabi and transfer to Hotel (-/-/-)

Welcome to Krabi! Upon on your arrival to Krabi airport, our driver and airport representative will wait for you at the exit with your name sign. After meet & greet we will transfer you to your hotel. Check in and enjoy hotel facilities at free leisure.

Option 1: Ao Nang Villa Resort

Our Krabi family hotel is within minutes of the lively shopping and restaurant district of Aonang Beach and offers warm and friendly service to make your stay a memorable one.

Option 2: Dusit D2 Ao Nang In a peaceful hillside location, dusitD2 Ao Nang is within walking distance of the beach as well as downtown shops, restaurants and bars, and within easy reach of all of Krabi’s main attractions. Stylishly furnished guests rooms and suites accommodate couples and families, with gorgeous views of the surroundings. A saltwater pool, international dining destinations and tranquil spa add to the ambience.

Enjoy a special and a unique evening at Ao Nang beach and Andaman Sea. The feeling being on the beach with a nice glass of Cocktail, hearing the waves and the light breeze during sunset. Words cannot describe this unique experience in the paradise. Enjoy the sunset and have your dinner under the open sky with a wonderful view of the ocean.

Day 2 Krabi to Nakhon Si Thammarat (B/L/-)

We will leave Krabi early morning, pick up from Hotel / Krabi airport is at 07.30 AM to avoid large crowds at our first destination, which is about 1,5 Hours away from Ao Nang. Visit the Emerald Pool, a small, shallow lake, with an area of less than one acre. It is named for its deep green color, which is caused by algae living on the rocks at the bottom of the pool. After a walk of 1.400 meters through the National park path, spend sometimes to swim in the Emerald Pool and take nice pictures of the surrounding area.

After about 50 minutes’ drive we will arrive to Baan Rai Tawanwarm. This 600 Rai or 120-acre huge farm follows the teachings of Rama 9, they grow vegetables, fruits and raise animals. It brought the King's science new theory agriculture by allocating farming areas, water resources and accommodations, which are carried out according to the civil war strategy that is now becoming an agricultural tourist attraction. It’s the first fully integrated example of Krabi and it is the first place to use a large area of the southern region at Lam Thap District, .

After lunch break at the farm, we continue our road trip heading to Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Visit Khiri Wong Village, which is located at Lan Saka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province; The villagers have a peaceful way of life, society like kinship. The production of Khiriwong village from the past to the present, the people have their main occupation as cultivation of fruits such as Durian, Mangosteen, Rambutan and Longkong. There are many professional groups, including natural Batik groups, Herb & Soap groups, basketry groups and coconut Emerald Pool shell products. The Village received an excellent “ Tourism Awards in 1998”. On this day you will also be joining some of the groups; making a Mangosteen Soap and try the Batic making. You can bring this home as a souvenir. After spent a great time at the village.

We will head to Nakhon Si Thammarat town for overnight.

Day 3 Nakhon Si Thammarat to Phattalung (B/L/-)

After breakfast you will get picked up from your hotel at 09.00 AM. Our first stop for today is Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, which is the main Buddhist temple of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in . The Thai name for the temple, Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan comes from Pali, vara maha dhatu vara maha vihara, literally meaning 'Great Noble Temple of the Great Noble Relics Stupa. The name of the town Nakhon Si Thammarat is also derived from Pali, Nagara Sri Dhammaraja, meaning 'town of Dhammaraja.

After the temple visit, you will get the chance to learn about nielloware, special engraved Silver Jewelries, from the artisan named Mr. Nikom Nok Aksorn who is also the mechanic reclamation chairman and teacher of Nakorn Handicraft Group.

Baan Nang Talung Museum was established to realize the importance and value of the shadow play and want to preserve, inherit and disseminate the shadow play art. Suchart Sapsin is an important artist in Nakhon Si Thammarat city, who has been selected as a local artist who has received an award for the tourism industry (Thailand Tourism Awards in 1996). Lunch will be served at a local Thai restaurant in Town.

Our next destination and stop are in Phattalung province. After 1,5 hours’ drive, we will arrive at Varni Handicraft. Mrs. Varni Senghuad is the founder of community enterprise group. The reason is to help people in the community reduce poverty, unemployment and the inequality of women in the

community. The development of Thai local wisdom in the community is the craft of woven basketry which is made from the local plant named Krajood. This natural material is easy to grow, and it has special features like high flexibility and can be folded without breaking itself. Finally, it is a sustainable project which is able to retreat the social trouble and promote networking between entrepreneurs from the local community to communities’ income. Here we will also have a possibility to actually make your own basket that you will get to bring home. After our visit here we will continue to the accommodation which are about

30 minutes transfer by our Van. Relaxing and enjoying the hotel and facilities.

Day 4 Phattalung to Krabi (B/L/-)

Today we start the day in the early morning. You will get picked up before the sun rise, about 05.45 AM. Don’t forget to bring your camera for this unforgettable boat ride of 2 hours along the lake. Talay Noi Non-Hunting area is part of the greater Songkhla lake basin, the largest lagoon lake in Thailand but also one of the largest natural freshwater lakes in South East Asia. It’s a biologically diverse wetland with multiple habitat types supporting a vast array of flora and fauna species. The wetlands were internationally recognized as a biodiversity hotspot in 1975 and the valuable feature is its provision of suitable breeding habitats for tens of thousands of native and migratory bird species. Royal or Sacred Lotus, Nelumbo nucifera, are harvested extensively for food, medicine and religious ceremonies.

Get back to the resort and enjoy your breakfast before checking out. We will leave the hotel at 10.00 AM heading back to Krabi. After 1-hour drive we will show you Wat Tham Sumano. It is in Phattalung province about 25 km away from the downtown. A cave found by Master Monk Dej Sumano in 1987 and became a legal temple called Wat Tham Sumano on 24th January 1992. Now a day the temple has a total land sized of approximately 500 rai or around 200 acres. Only 15 minutes from here you will enjoy Thai lunch at Khao Pubpa Restaurant.

On the way back to Krabi Hotel and it’s also our last stop for this trip, you will get to know one more part about Krabi’s history and can be seen in the Wat Klong Thom Museum, which is in Klong Thom district, Krabi Province. Ancient beads were found in this area. Ancient Beads "A precious jewelry that has been buried with the past for thousands of years. The largest source of ancient beads found in Thailand is in the area of "Khuan Muk" (Khuan in southern meaning hill or small mountain) or Khlong Thom community. Colorful, beautiful shape including countless other ancient objects.

We will arrive back to Krabi around 04.30 PM.
