Sir/ Madam, Sub: Annual General Transfers 2021 - Transfer Proforma for Group ®' Officers regarding ***** Kind reference is invited to the subject mentioned above.

2. I am directed to enclose a copy of transfer proforma for the purpose of transfer within Gujarat Region in respect of Group 'B' Officers ( ITOs/ AOs Gr.Il & II/Sr. PS/ PS). Itis mandatory tofill theproforma by all officers.You are requested to obtain and forward the information in the prescribed Transfer Proforma in respect of the officers working under your administrative control, who fulfill any

of the following criteria:

(a) Officers who have joined their duty at Ahmedabad in AGT-2013 or earlier, thereby completing stay of 8 Years ormore at Ahmedabad Station.

Officers who have joined their duty at Vadodara / Surat / Rajkot in AGT-2016 or earlier, thereby completing stay of 5 Years or more at above mentioned stations. (c) Officers who have joined their duty at places other than Ahmedabad/ Vadodara/ Surat/ Rajkot in AGT-2018 or earlier, thereby completing stay of 3 Yearsor more at the station.

(d) Officers who have been promoted in the F.Y. 2020-21.

(e) fficers, whose cases are under review vide earlier orders.

( Officers who are not due for transfer, as per any of the criteria indicated at (a), (b).(©), (d) or (e) above, but desire transfer on request basis within the Gujarat Region.

3. The tenure of posting in ITAT, RTI and MSTU may be excluded for the purpose of computing period of stay at particular station, if the officer so desires.

4. It may please be ensured that no officer who is due for transfer as per criteria 2(a), 2(b). 2(c), 2(d) &2(e), is left out. The officer, who is not due for transfer as per criteria 2(a)/2(b)/2(cy2(d)y2(e) or 2(), may mark the item no. 4 (as the case may be) as "NA". Similarly, officer who is not seeking transfer and is also not due may mark item no. 5 as "NA*"

5. All officers, who are posted in CCIT Region other than Rajkot and are due for transfer as per above criteria, are required to give 5 choices of posting and out of them, two choices of stations must be from Rajkot region. Similarly, all officers posted in Rajkot region and who are due for transfer, are required to give 5 choices of stations and out of them, 2 choices of stations must be from other CCIT region. In case 5 station choices are not given or 2 choices of Rajkot Region/Other Region (as the case may be) are not filled up by the officer, itshall be presumed that such officer is willing tobe posted at any station. Therefore, it is requested to fill the station preferences as above mentioned criteria strictly.

6. oficers who are not due for station transfer as per the above criteria may also be transferred on administrative requirement. Therefore, specific request for retention, even if not due for transfer, should also be furnished by the officers along with necessary evidence in item no. 6 of the transfer proforma. Item No. 6 is required to be filled mandatorily by all officers. It is requested to bring this fact to the notice of all the Officers under your charge.

7. I am also directed to inform that the officers requesting for retention at the same station or transfer to other station on any of the grounds viz i) Medical ground (SelfDependents) (latest CMO/AMA certificate is mandatory) i) PH ground (latest physical disability certificate is mandatory) ii) Children's education ground (Only retention if child is in 10"/12" in E.Y 2021-22). iv) Spouse ground v) Others, it may kindly be ensured that necessary evidence (self certified )in support of their ground are enclosed for verification. Necessary authentication of evidences furnished by the officer is required tobe donein such cases by the controlling Officer, before forwarding the request. Without authentication, nosuch application will be entertained.

8. Your recommendations for transfer on administrative grounds, if any, may also be sent separately, through a confidential letter.

9. The transfer proforma has been uploaded on www.incometaxguiarat.org. Hence, it is requested that the same may be brought to the knowledge of officers working in your charge and the officers may be informed that the same shall be sent to this office through proper channel only. Further, it is also requested that the transfer proforma, duly verified by the forwarding authority, along with a certificate,

2 that no officer who is due for transfer as Para 2 per (a), 2(b), 2(c), 2(d) & 2(e) is left out, and your recommendations, if any, may be submitted to this office by 5h May 2021. It is further requested not to send information in piece-meal manner, and details of all officers should come through one letter only with the specific comments, if any. 10. For further clarification if any, one can refer to the transfer & posting policy for Group B (GAZ) for ITO in Gujarat Region dated 02.03.2012 and transfer & posting policy for Group B' (GAZ) Sr.PS/PS & A.O. Gr. l1/A.O. Gr. Ill in Gujarat Region dated 07.09.2018. 11. Kindly note that the transfer proforma should be filled and submitted only in the latest proforma enclosed. The applications received in older transfer proforma will not be entertained for the purpose of transfer and postings.

12. Kindly treat this as MOST URGENT & TIME BOUND.
