Sir/ Madam,

Sub Annual General Transfers 2021 Transfer Proforma for Group A Officers- regarding ***** Kind reference is invited to the subject mentioned above.

proforma for all officers. You are requested to obtain and forward the informationin the prescribed Transfer Proforma in respect of the officers working under your administrative control, who fulfill any of the following criteria:

(a) Officers who have joined their duty at Ahmedabad on or before 31/12/2012, thereby completing stay of 8Financial Years or more as on 31/12/2020.

(b) Officers who have joined their duty at Vadodara / Surat on or before 31/12/2015, thereby completing stay of 5 Financial Years or more as on 31/12/2020

(c) Officers who have joined their duty at any station other than Ahmedabad/ Vadodara/ Surat on or before 31/12/2017, thereby completing stay of 3 Financial Years or more as on 31/12/2020.

(d) Officers, whose cases are under review vide earlier orders. (e) Officers who are not due for transfer, as per criteria indicated at (a), (b),(c) & (d) above, but desire transfer on request basis within the Gujarat Region.

3. The period of posting at ITAT and RTI shall be treated as exempt for the purpose of computing period of stay at Ahmedabad/Rajkou/Surat, but may be so counted at the option of the Officer.

4. It may please be ensured that no officer who is due for transfer as per criteria 2(a), 2(b), 2(c) & 2(d) above, is let out. The officer, who is not due for transfer as per criteria 2(a)/2(b/2(¢) or 2(d), may mark theitem no. 4 (as the case may be) as "NA*". Similarly, officer who is not seeking transfer andis also not due may mark item no. 5 as "NA".

5. All officers, who are posted in CCIT Region other than Rajkot and are due for transfer as per above criteria, are required to give 5 choices of posting and out of them, two choices of stations must be from Rajkot region. Similarly, all officers posted in Rajkot region and who are due for transfer, are required to give 5 choices of stations and out of them, 2 choices of stations must be from other CCIT region. In case 5 station choices are not given or 2 choices of Rajkot Region/Other Region (as the case may be) are not filled up by the officer, it shall be presumed that such officer is willing to be pOsted at any station. Therefore, it is requested to fill the station preferences as above mentioned criteria strictly.

6. Oficers who are not due for station transfer as per the above criteria may also be transferred on administrative requirement. Therefore, specific request for retention, even if not due for transfer, should also be furnished by the officers along with necessary evidence in item no. 6 of the transfer proforma. Item No. 6 is required to be filled mandatorily by all offiecers. It is requested to bring this fact to the notice of all the Officers under your charge.

7. I am also directed to inform that the officers requesting for retention at the same station or transfer to other station on any of the grounds viz. i) Medical ground (Self/Dependents) (latest CMOIAMA certificate is mandatory) i) PH ground (latest physical disability certificate is mandatory) ii) Children's education ground (Only retention if child is in 10/12th in E.Y 2021-22), iv) Spouse ground v) Others, it may kindly be ensured that necessary evidence (self certified) in support of their ground are enclosed for verification. Necessary authentication of evidences furnished by the officer is required to be done in such cases by the_controlling Officer, before forwarding the request. Without authentication, no such application will be entertained.

8. Your recommendations for transfer on administrative reasons/grounds/performance, if any, may also be sent separately, through a confidential letter. 9 The transfer proforma has been uploaded on www.incometaxgujarat.org. Hence, it is requested that the same may bring to the knowledge of officers working in your charge and the officers may be informed that the same shall be sent to this office through proper channel only. Further, it is also requested that the transfer profornma, duly verified by the forwarding authority along with a certificate, that no officer who is due for transfer as per para 2 (a), (6), (c) & (d) is left out, and your recommendations, if any, may be submitted to this office by 5" May 2021.
