5 EMERITUS FACULTY President Bartels has recommended to the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia that the following faculty members be granted emeritus status upon retirement: Dr. James J. Bergin, Professor of Counselor Education, levels, and completed multiple service assignments. For his retired July 31, 2015. Dr. Bergin earned his Bachelor of Arts numerous contributions in the school, college, University, and degree in Philosophy from the University of St. Mary of the profession, Dr. Willie J. Burden deserves the title of Professor Lake (1967) and his Master of Education degree in Guidance Emeritus of Sport Management. and Counseling from Loyola University Chicago (1971). He earned his Doctor of Education degree in Counseling from the Dr. Grigory Dmitriyev, Professor of Curriculum Studies, College of William and Mary (1974). Upon his retirement, Dr. will retire on January 1, 2016. At the time of her retirement, Professor Hamilton at Ohio University; Assistant Athletic Director at Tennessee had provided 23 years of distinguished service to Georgia Technological University; and Assistant Football Coach and Southern, concluding a career of over 40 years of service as Instructor in the Department of Health, Physical Education and an academic librarian.
