Business Update of MNCN: FTA Performance Update Continuing its solid growth momentum in Q3-2020, RCTI’s prime time remains strong supported by its in-house drama production and special program line-up. As of December 2020, MNCN has managed to book an overall audience share of 50% on prime-time and all time audience share reached 41.7%, where RCTI dominated a captivating 33.2% and 22.1% audience share respectively.

Backed by MNCN’s record-breaking drama series “Ikatan Cinta”, the only program that was able to booked the highest rating and audience share ever recorded on FTA TV, and not to mention “Amanah Wali 4” and “Putri Untuk Pangeran”, which also continued to top the charts.

Notable Programs:

Social Media Performance Update The Company’s YouTube performance remained to be rock-solid in Indonesia, obtaining the biggest number of subscribers and views. As of December, MNCN’s YouTube channels garnered over 118 million subscribers and 37.2 billion views. Moreover, MNCN’s multi-channel network (MCN) unit also recorded positive and outstanding results in 2020, which gained 60 million subscribers and 5.7 billion views. With the addition of various renowned content creators to its MCN talent pool for the year, the Company is optimistic in achieving significant contribution from the MCN operation to its digital revenue. In 2020, MNCN unveiled its social media monetization potential through Facebook (July) and TikTok (September), both having huge base of followers, wherein it reached 42 million and 33.3 million respectively.

General & News Portal Performance Update The Company’s 3 online portals - namely Okezone.com, Sindonews.com, and iNews.id are starting to create meaningful records and has been enjoying a substantial growth over the years. By year end, the 3 portals combined hit its 68 million mark of monthly active users (MAU), which represents a remarkable 126% YoY growth vs 30 million MAU in December 2019. The substantial increase in traffic is attributable to the improved content quality, highlighting speed in delivery, exclusivity and at the same time offering variety made possible through proper synergy and integration of the portals under one management.

RCTI+ Performance Update RCTI+ has been rapidly growing with its MAU reaching over 23 million by the end of December 2020. The high rated performance of our TV programs such as “Ikatan Cinta”, “Master Chef Indonesia”, and “Indonesian Idol”, which are exclusively available on the platform contributed to its success. RCTI+ has launched new initiatives which have increased the engagement and interest of the viewers because new and exclusive original series and Asian drama series was introduced in the platform and has been very popular amongst RCTI+ viewers. To date, video streaming service comprises of 47% of users, followed by news content at 27%.
