Its mission is “the conservation and wise use of all wetlands through local and national actions and international cooperation, as a contribution towards achieving sustainable development throughout the world”. Korean-Filipino Family Blessing Festival in South Korea Winny Cayme July 7, 2018 No word in the dictionary can ever express my gratitude to all those who have supported the Korean-Filipino Family Blessing Festival last July 7th. More than 100 couples out of 280 participants committed their lives to keep their marriages pure and their family healthy centered on God's true love. Your attendance and participation will all be recorded in heaven which is unprecedented in the history of Han-Fil families in Korea. We are the 2nd HANFIL COUPLE to have this proclamation done in KOREA. This is a true victory of HANFIL providence in Korea. To share this blessing and fortune to all I personally decided to give birth to a new club where we can embrace in one family atmosphere all the 280 people who celebrated with us inaugurating the new "Han-Fil Family True Love Movement" a new club of United Filipinos married with Koreans from Yeongnam District. Yun2 1National Center for Agro-Meteorology, Seoul National University, Seoul 151-742, Korea 2Department of Ecological Engineering, Kyung Hee University, Yongin 446-701, Korea (Received August 28, 2012; Revised September 24, 2012; Accepted September 24, 2012) ABSTRACT This study was carried out to evaluate a possible change in freeze risk for ‘Changhowon Hwangdo’ peach buds in three major peach growing areas under the future climate projected by RCP8.5 emission scenario. Mean values of the monthly temperature data for the present decade (2000s) and the future decades (2020s, 2050s, 2080s) were extracted for farm lands in Icheon, Chungju, and Yeongcheon-Gyeongsan region at 1km resolution and 30 sets of daily temperature data were generated randomly by a stochastic process for each decade. The daily data were used to calculate a thermal time-based dormancy depth index which is closely related to the cold tolerance of peach buds. Combined with daily minimum temperature, dormancy depth can be used to estimate the potential risk of freezing damage on peach buds. -
