BlueScope COMMERCE Work Integrated Learning Scholarship Number of Scholarships: ONE (1) Value: $10,000 Duration: ONE (1) YEAR Year of Scholarship 2010

BlueScope Steel is offering a commerce scholarship at the University of which comprises a $10,000 benefit plus up to 12 weeks work experience at the Port Kembla Steelworks. BlueScope Steel will attempt to provide the successful applicant with a placement or project for a student studying accounting or finance in a Commerce degree.

Criteria: Applicants for the BlueScope Steel Commerce Scholarship must meet the following criteria: o Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in their 2nd year (entering 3rd year in 2011) of Bachelor of Commerce, studying accounting or finance at the /Wollongong Campus in 2010. o Applicants must achieve and maintain a credit average for the duration of the scholarship. o Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of . o Applicants will have successfully completed all first year subjects and the first session of their second year, with an average mark of 70 or above o Must be available to partake in work experience over the 2010 – 2011 summer break The successful student will have an outstanding academic record and an interest in following a career in Finance or Accounting related position. Previous involvement in a community-based or volunteer capacity will be highly regarded.
