Head Coach Derek Brown Today’s Match-Up Coppin State opens Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play against Norfolk State. The Eagles lead the all-time series, 23-6. Coppin State has a 17-game winning streak over Norfolk State that covers the past 10 years. The two teams faced off twice last season. In their first meeting, the Eagles grabbed a 71-52 victory off the 27-point scoring performance of senior Ashle Craig. When they met again in February, the Spartans dropped a 63-51 decision. Three players scored in double digits for the Lady Eagles, including Janelle Lane with 12 points and six rebounds.
