Isfahan, IRAN

Research area:

 Taxonomy, systematics and evolution of Arachnids I love evolutionary biology and I am interested in integrated methodology to address evolutionary questions: mainly integrated taxonomy (using morphologic and molecular characters), species delimitation, DNA barcoding, Phylogenetics, models of Niche evolution, molecular clock and data from geological events and historical biogeography.  Applied arachnology: I am interested in spider venom genomics and proteomics, and in general toxinology of spider venom

Related activities and abilities:

Field and lab work:

I have done field works in various habitats from intertidal zone, sand deserts to vertical caves (pits).

For professional caving (SRT, etc) I have been trained under supervision of “Iran Mountaineering &

Sport Climbing Federation”.

 2006 till present: Iran (deserts, mountain, intertidal zone and caves) national and

international activities

 2012 (16 days, sampling)

 2015 : western Gaths (5 days, arthropods sampling)
