  • Oslo Grand Prix
Oslo Grand Prix Søndag 10. mai kl 12.00 INTERNASJONAL Årgang 7 Nr 39/2009 Kr 25,- VG OSLO GRAND PRIX 2009 Greetings from the Mayor of Oslo It is a pleasure to welcome you to Oslo. This city was founded more than a thousand years ago, and has served as the political centre of Norway since the reign of King Håkon Magnusson (1299-1319). Despite all the changes it has undergone during this time, Oslo’s most prominent feature has always been the contrast between the hustle and bustle of the city itself and the pristine nature which surrounds it. From the race track at Bjerke there is only a short walk to the forest, which is several times bigger than the city itself. The people who live here love the woodlands and the fjord which Oslo borders on as much the city itself, and on hot summer days there may be more of us on the islands and by the lakes than there are on the streets. The city, too, has much to offer its citizens and visitors. Our new National Opera House has reinforced Oslo’s reputation as a city of grand and groundbreaking architecture, and it has become one of our most popular attractions along with the Vigeland Park, the City Hall, and the Holmenkollen ski-jump (which is being rebuilt for the 2011 World Championships). But the most rewarding way to experience Oslo will perhaps be a stroll in the city streets and along the waterfront. The competitions you will take part in are presumably no relaxing affair, and Oslo can provide the tired and stressed with tranquility and rest.

  • Bjerke Travbane Fredag 6. September Og Lørdag 7. September. Forord Välkommen Till Årets Klasseløpsauksjon 2013 Över 160 Hästar Skall Auktioneras Ut Under Två Dagar

  • Press Release
PRESS RELEASE Four racehorses have tested positive for doping during the Oslo Grand Prix race Four horses trained by Fabrice Souloy have tested positive for prohibited substances in samples taken during races in Norway and Sweden. The horses will be barred from competing and the coach will be suspended while the case is under investigation. In addition, adjustments will be made to the prize money totaling 2.66 million NOK. The trotters Your Highness, Un Mec d`Heripre and Lionel have presented positive A-samples after participation in the Oslo Grand Prix on 12th of June 2016. Timone Ek presented a positive A-sample after the victory in Bjerkebanen's Europe Match on 12th of June 2016. Un Mec d`Heripre has also submitted a positive A-sample both on 28th of May 2016 at the pre-race testing before Elitloppet and on 29th of May after Elitloppet. All B-samples are sent to another laboratory for verification. Lionel has presented both positive A and B samples. Analyses of the samples display findings of cobalt far exceeding the threshold levels in blood and urine for all horses. The Norwegian Trotting Association has analyzed a large number of samples for cobalt from the days before and during the race day on June 12th. After it was found that the A-sample from Lionel was positive for cobalt, several samples from this race day was sent for analysis specifically for cobalt, including all the participating horses in Oslo Grand Prix. The Swedish Trotting Association decided to investigate the stored samples from all placed horses in Elitloppet on the 29th of May 2016 for cobalt after the positive test in Norway.

Alt ligger til rette for to pangdager, mener Bjerkes daglige leder, Arnlioth Heltberg.
