No Finalizó Su Mandato Y Renunció Cuando Aún No Se Había Cumplido Presidentes | América Central WINSTON CENAC Período de mandato: 4 de mayo de 1981 - 17 de enero de 1982 Partido político: Partido Laborista Nació el 14 de septiembre de 1925. Abogado de profesión, fue Procurador General de Santa Lucía, San Vicente y las Granadinas y la Isla de Granada. En 1969 se estableció en su país natal para ejercer la abogacía pero en forma privada. En el momento que se produjeron ciertas tensiones constitucionales debido al debilitamiento del gobierno de Allan Louisy, Winston Cenac decidió presentarse como candidato a Primer Ministro por el Partido Laborista con el fi n de eliminar las diferencias entre los partidarios y los opositores al gobierno. Isla de Granada. Ganó las elecciones de 1981 y el 4 de mayo de ese mismo año fue nombrado Primer No fi nalizó su Ministro. No fi nalizó su mandato y renunció cuando aún no se había cumplido un año mandato y renunció de su gestión. En las elecciones de 1982, decidió no presentarse. Ese mismo año también se hizo cargo de la cartera de Finanzas, Planeación y Desarrollo y la de Relaciones Exteriores. Se presentó en las Elecciones Generales del 23 de mayo de 1997 pero Lewis no con- siguió reunir la cantidad de votos sufi cientes para comenzar con su segunda gestión. Compton venció a Lewis en las elecciones del Partido de Trabajadores Unidos que se celebraron el 13 marzo de 2005 y que tuvieron como fi nalidad establecer un nuevo Vaughan Lewis. líder. Ganó por 260 votos contra 135 de Lewis. Como consecuencia Lewis se unió al Partido Laboral de Santa Lucia. KENNETH ANTHONY Período de mandato: 15 de diciembre de 2006 - 7 de septiembre de 2007 Partido político: Partido Laboral de Santa Lucia (SLP) Estudió en la Universidad de las Indias occidentales de Birmingham.
