On an Android tablet or Android smartphone? For Android devices, such as Samsung Galaxy, use the Google Play Books app to view ePub files on an Android tablet or Android smartphone. The Google Play Books app is available for free from the Google Play Store. For additional directions on accessing the book, go to https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/3097151?hl=en Accessibility Options The Adobe Digital Editions application fully supports JAWS or NVDA for Windows users. Macintosh users can utilize the built-in Voiceover capabilities. Assistance is available in the Office of Accessibility, 1228 Haley Center; phone: 334-844- 2096. Figures and Videos Throughout the ePub, figures and videos are used to welcome the reader, detail definitions, enhance a concept, or delve deeper into an explanation. Viewing Figures in More Detail Increasing the text size also increases the size of the figure to view more detail. Viewing the ePub in a full-screen view will maximize the figure’s size. On iOS devices, the iBooks app allows the user to double-tap the figure and pinch-to- zoom to view it in more detail. On an Android device, long-press the figure and pinch-to-zoom to view it in more detail. Viewing Videos (give them time to load) Videos are played using YouTube links. To view the video, click or tap on the link that appears in the text. The link will open in YouTube and allow you to view the video as you would any other video on the Internet. Once the video is completed, you must return to the ePub to continue reading. .
