The main topics covered in the session were what constitutes plagiarism? How to detect plagiarism using turnitin software? How to avoid plagiarism (paraphrasing, summarizing, quoting and referencing appropriately) and consequences of plagiarism. Urdu lecturer series Library in collaboration with Gurmani Center for Languages & Literature organized two lecturers under the title "Resistant elements in Urdu literature". First session was on Urdu poem with reference to "anti-resistance elements in Urdu," translated by translator, teacher, and intellectual by Dr. Tabasim Kashmiri. Second session was on Urdu play. The lecture was conducted by the famous dramatologist, storywriter, poet, translator and teacher Asghar Nadim Syed. He emphasized that any theory in literature comes in the way of political ideology. In international context, he also talked about the work of Samuel Bact, Year Bio, Iceland, and other writers. A good number of people attended the session.
