WELCOME TO THE SHOW! A warm welcome to our Winter Evening of Entertainment which includes comedy drama, a light supper and a fun Quiz! For your amusement we will perform five sketches all on the theme of the lighter side of medical practice. We begin in the offices of an average local general medical practice with a disgruntled GP who is having a bad day and lets his daft patient know it. This is followed by another doctor and a patient with a big problem, then we move on to discover the answer to insomnia for one lucky lady. We then move to the local hospital where one unlucky patient is going to find out rather too much about his impending treatment for comfort, at the hands of a bombastic consultant and a trainee surgeon who is more interested in the nurses. We remain in hospital for our last sketch before the interval where it is visiting time and Andy’s mate has thoughtfully brought him some grapes…. After you have enjoyed your interval snack and a drink or two we then return to the local hospital where Mr. Brown is receiving treatment and expecting a visit from his wife. All goes well until another visitor arrives and Charlie’s world begins to unravel….
