For Immediate Release June 16, 2017 Innu Development Limited Partnership, Nunatsiavut Group of Companies, and PAL Airlines Announce Partnership Goose Bay, NL – The Innu Development Limited Partnership (IDLP) and the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies (NGC) announced today they have partnered with PAL Airlines for the provision of air services under a new brand, Air Borealis. Air Borealis will continue to provide quality service and reliability while being poised for growth both within Labrador and beyond. The Air Borealis brand represents the rich cultures of both indigenous groups “IDLP has enjoyed an excellent relationship with PAL Airlines over the last 20 years and we are excited to launch our new brand for this partnership,” said Simon Osmond, Business Manager, IDLP. “Air Borealis is positioned very well for future growth and enhanced service. We thank the NGC leadership for working with us to make this a reality and look forward to continued success,” stated Osmond. “We are proud to be part of this partnership on behalf of our members. Air Borealis will continue to provide vital air service to coastal Labrador including added frequency with the introduction of a new midday flight to the North Coast. Air Borealis will also have access to more aircraft enabling faster response times and greater capacity for the delivery of goods and passengers.
