2021 Munich Agenda Overview 2021 Munich Agenda Overview ONE YOUNG WORLD JULY 22-25 2021 MUNICH AGENDA OVERVIEW 2021 MUNICH AGENDA OVERVIEW Agenda Overview The Munich Agenda 2021 is a Hybrid Mix of Live, Digital & Hub attendance. To suit most time zones we will be showing content as follows (time zones in CET): All timings are subject to change dependent on covid testing. Regional Hubs Individual Hubs will have their own agendas of local speakers, Ambassadors and live workshops but will join the live Munich content when time zones connect. Hub locations are subject to change. These are selected based on travel and Covid restrictions but at present we will be hosting one Regional Hub in New York City. Timings Thursday 22 July: Opening Ceremony 17:00 – 18:00 CET Digital Platform 18:00 – 20:30 CET Live from Munich The Digital Platform will commence from 17:30 CET with a welcome address and lead up to the Opening Ceremony that will be broadcast live from Munich at 18:00 CET from Olympiahalle. The show will feature the One young World Flag Ceremony, music Closing Ceremony 2019 London Central Hall Westminster and dance entertainment, Counsellor welcome and keynote speakers. Friday 23 – Saturday 24 July: 07:00 – 10:00 CET Digital Platform 2019 London Summit 10:00 – 19:00 CET Live from Munich 19:00 – 22:00 CET Digital Platform Sunday 25 July: 06:00 – 10:00 CET Digital Platform 10:00 – 20:00 CET Live from Munich – (17:30 Closing Ceremony) Sunday 25 July: Closing Ceremony After the last session on the Presentation stage, the first part of the Closing Ceremony will begin in Olympiahalle before processing to BMW Welt for the final performances. The show will feature the digital ribbon tying ceremony, awards, keynote speeches, live music, entertainment from 2022 Host City Japan and the handing over of the One Young World baton. Delegates can also connect with other Delegates through the search function in the app. The networking lounge also provides multiple opportunities for Delegates to connect informally. For those Delegates live in Munich networking will take place during hotel meet ups, break periods and evening events. Our host city will be arranging city tours live for Delegates in Munich and by film on the digital platform. The mobile app allows all Delegates live and digital to communicate. The Passion Play’s wheels were first set in motion back in 1633 when the Great Plague descended upon the residents of Oberammergau, a charming Bavarian village. Its citizens made a solemn vow that if their lives were spared, they would perform a play depicting the story of Christ’s life, suffering, death and resurrection every ten years. Amazingly, there were no further deaths as a result of the plague and the Passion Play officially began a year later in 1634. The event has only seen a few other incidents where it had to be postponed or cancelled throughout its almost 400- year history, but it will return in 2022 to wow audiences from around the world.

Im Jahr 1959 begannen die Brüder Barry, Robin und Maurice Gibb ihre Karriere und gelten heute als eine der erfolgreichsten Pop-Bands aller Zeiten. Die BEE GEES habe sich in ihrer Laufbahn gleich mehrfach neu erfunden und erhielten alle wichtigen musikalischen Ehrungen, darunter mehrere Grammy-Awards und die Aufnahme in die Rock’n’Roll Hall Of Fame. 1987 unterschrieben sie bei Warner Bros. und veröffentlichten drei höchst bemerkenswerte Studioalben: E.S.P., One und High Civilization. An diesen kreativen Ausbruch der „Gibbs-Brüder“ in den späten achtziger Jahren erinnert nun die 5-Disc- Kollektion, die all drei Studio-Alben sowie eine Auswahl an raren Demos und Studio-Outtakes enthält. Highlight der Zusammenstellung dürfte One For All sein, der Mitschnitt eines Konzerts von 1989, der hier zum ersten Mal in voller Länge auf 2 CDs erhältlich ist. Das 22 Songs starke Live-Set wurde von Barry Gibb selbst und John Merchant gemixt und erscheint im State-Of-The-Art-Sound, der einem das Gefühl gibt, selbst live dabei zu sein.
