NOVEMBER, 2019 a Day of Ball at Miracle League Dale M NOVEMBER, 2019 A Day of Ball At Miracle League Dale M On July first, my creative cooking class, men’s group, and summer program went on an outing to Miracle League to play baseball. The outing lasted from 9:45 AM to 1:45 PM. It was a very warm, sunny day. We used a tee to hit and I got a double. I was playing in the outfield. We took a break from playing baseball to eat lunch. For Lunch, we had a cook-out where we grilled hotdogs, while we hung out and talked. We played again after lunch. When we played again after lunch, we had to go around the fence to get the ball after a couple homeruns. After playing, some of us sat in the dug-out while others went to the accessible playground to test out the accessibility. Those who tested the playground found that it was accessible to all. I liked that we could get up to the equipment and could have transferred on to the merry go round and teeter totter. After a great day out at miracle field, we returned to the CP center. TWEETY IS CURRENTLY ALONE IN HIS CAGE, SO ONE OF THE CP CLASSES IS GOING TO PURCHASE ONE OR TWO MORE PARAKEETS. IN ORDER TO KEEP PARAKEETS, THEY HAVE TO BE HELTHY. PARKEETTS NEED FRESH WATER AND FOOD EVERYDAY, LIKE SEEDS AND PELLETS. PARAKEETS GROOM THEMSELVES TO LOOK THEIR BEST. THEY NEED A LARGE CAGE TO FLY IN, LIKE THE CP CAGE. THEY ARE HAPPIEST IN PAIRS. PARAKEETS ARE GENTLE, AND ONLY BITE WHEN SCARED. THEY SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT WHEN THEIR CAGE IS COVERED. THEY COMMUNICATE WITH A COOING OR A TWEET. I WILL BE EXCITED TO SEE THE NEW BIRD, AND HAVE A CHANCE TO WORK ON MY VETERNARIAN SKILLS WITH THE PARAKEETS. UPDATE: CP RECENTLY GOT A NEW PARAKEETT NAMED BUBBLES AND SHE IS WHITE AND BLUE.
